I ordered a furniture dolly and it was not in the truck! Second, I'm a Verizon customer and the coverage in the area is so poor that It took me about 30 minutes to check in the truck because it took so long to upload pictures.
MICHAEL LThe guy working was nice but the truck was a disaster. The temperature control buttons were stuck in place and on the rainy day that we rented the truck we couldn't put it on defrost to clear the windshield because it was stuck on vent. The transmission didnt like shifting into second gear and the engine revved and revved until it finally went. The inside was gross. All sticky and dirty. The steering was difficult to control the truck, there was a lot of play with the steering wheel. The brakes were very soft. I tried to get my husband to take it back for another vehicle but he persisted just to get the day over with.

PAUL BWe were overcharged $71 because the agent failed to provide a written contract that was accurate. Also nearly charged for 2 dollies we did not order. Gas tank was at one-half when we picked up, but when returned, we were told it had to be full. WILL NEVERRENT FROM UHAUL AGAIN. VERY DECEPTIVE.

Jody CI specifically told the gentleman who rented me the uhaul that I DID NOT want insurance because how close I live. When I dropped off the truck, I had only used it for 5 miles and put more gas in it than it had when I rented it. My receipt was emailed to me and I was charged for 2 days of insurance WITHOUT MY PERMISSION on my credit card. I demand that this be refunded to me.

william hLabeled very poorly, you could not even tell you could return U-Haul there. No clear parking for vehicle, no one to answer phone/give instruction. Drop box was completely unlocked. In addition I was supposed to be reimbursed for gas because the U-Haul was essentially on empty and there was no one to assist.

David BNo staff was present on a day the office was supposed to be open until 6 pm. I reserved a truck for 330pm. With no staff available i then turned it into a mobile pick up. The mobile pick up did not give me a code to the key locks. When I called Uhauls wonderful customer service, we had to swap the truck I was to rent out 2 times due to the keys being wrong once I got into the lock box. There was a key in the box for a truck on the other side of a gate that needed a code the wasn’t available to get to. The other key was for a size I did not order. Since I had already paid for a rental I was either leaving with a truck or I would have to wait until staffing was available to cal and get a refund. Due to having to swap trucks, at about 415 I was able to finally pull out of the rental place. The truck I was in was not connected to my account so I was unable to finish the mobile check in about the details of the truck. At the end of my rental I had to call customer service again to let them know I had stopped using the truck. Luckily I took pictures of the mileage start to finish. Another customer had to call the cops due to no staff and his car keys being left in the closed office possession. The owner was called and came to help him with the excuse that they are short on staff. My experience with this rental place was 0 stars. My experience with U-Haul customer service was 1000 stars! Kayla NThe service people were friendly and helpful and costs are reasonable. However, the vehicles themselves could be better maintained. Driving the vehicle is rough and the back sliding door is very hard to close (for a larger male) and his makes the process more difficult. However, the truck bed is clean and well maintained.

Peter CI reserved a truck and trailer at this location, upon picking up the truck I was advised I would need to drive 5 miles to another location to get the trailer. The truck was absolutely filthy and reeked of cigarettes, the clerk sprayed air freshener which did nothing for the odor and said this is the only truck available. As I was on a time schedule and needed the truck I was forced to take this one. The truck pulled continuously to the right and you could not release the wheel for a second or it would be off the road. The front tires were severely worn on the outer edges due to this mechanical problem. The exhaust leaked and the engine was very loud. I emptied the ash tray and cleaned the cigarette butts off of the floor, wiped down the interior and sprayed febreeze throughout leaving thg he windows open for two days while loading the truck but could not get the cigarette stench out of the truck. During my move I saw at least three Uhal vehicles broke down along the highway and just prayed I would not be one of them. I did make it to my destination and advised the center of the safety problems with the truck, it was indicated that they would notify the company it needed service but it was scheduled to be rented to someone else that day at 3pm. It was also noted that the safety chains on the trailer had previously been damaged it appeared they hadn't been properly adjusted and allowed to drag on the roadway, this damage had a layer of rust over the weakened links so there appears to be a long term lack of maintenance the chains also contained screw on quick connect links which through previous experience I know thg these are illegal for use on safety chains.

Hashim ASignificant damage on the passenger door. It has been there a while with the amount of rust. Truck was unlocked on pickup, lock box was unlocked. Anyone could have taken the truck. Truck worked well for what I needed.

VIATEUR HThe location was fine. The pricing is not. For 30 miles of driving and 1.5 hours of use, it cost me well over $100 for the 10 foot box truck (overall). The 100,000+ mile truck was only in mediocre shape, but it sure makes them money.

DILLON DDon’t use mobile pick up. The app nor website work. We lost an hour of time waiting on hold with customer service to get our truck unlocked because of the website being down for maintenance on a Saturday morning at 9am. No compensation was given for the issues either.

GREGORY KI didn’t like that I was notified the day before my move that a truck I needed was going to be 45 min in cranberry township for pickup and then it was switched to Gibsonia not a problem, I think the online check in is complicated and not user friendly. I found myself clicking on hyperlinks to do more part of the check in process. All in all everyone I spoke with on the phone was very kind and helpful. I had a heck of a time dropping off the truck though it took me to quality inn the hotel and the front desk girl says this happens all the time. Maybe good to update that. It literally says quality inn on my paperwork and their address. I am however thankful that there was a truck for me. Just a long hassle on top of a stressful day for me as moving is stressful physically, mentally , and emotionally. Thank you!

Sean SCompass self storage and you haul rental did an excellent job of working with me to get right size truck when I needed it. I have no complaints at all about compass self storage and u-haul rental. However the morning I went to do self check in on my mobile phone the self check in app froze up And I could not do the self check in . I called 1 800 u-haul customer service and was on hold for over half hour before I got to talk to a customer service representative. They were not able to fix the problem and didn't even seem to know what the problem was. So as a result I had to wait an hour and a 1/2 until the self storage facility opened up in they were able to do a manual Check in of the truck. U hauls self check in and return app is not very good. I have had several times now where the app is froze up on me and it has cost me money whether in waiting or being charged for non return check in . You haul is relying on an app it is not good at all. It does not seem like you haul has enough customer service representatives to answer the phone. Every time in recent history that I've tried to call you haul I'm on hold for almost a 1/2 hour or more every time before I get to talk to a live person.
