I was driving a brand new 33' motorhome. This location was in a very rural area that included approximately 10 miles of very sharp, blind curves and narrow poor roads. Had I known what I had to drive thru, I would have never driven here. The owner of the store admitted the location was difficult to get to because the trucking delivery companies did not want to deliver to him.

Dropped off the truck at 9:30, it was due at 10. Lady at the counter said thank you, you're good to go. I asked if she needed to check the vehicle in and she said no. Later that night I see an extra charge from U-Haul on my credit card statement. I called U-Haul and the operator was very helpful. She looked up the charge and said that the vehicle was not checked in until 3:30, causing me to be charged for the extra time. I told her that was not the case, and then she said she would forward this to a supervisor. Within 24 hours I received an email showing I was refunded what I was overcharged. Thank you for your prompt attention in this matter, U-Haul. I would never again return equipment to this location though.

Car hauler trailer had a nail in the passenger's rear tire.. only 15 pounds of pressure in the tire when I got home to load up the 2009 Volkswagen Jetta SEL Sedan. I inflated it to the proper pressure & carried a small air compressor to inflate it again on my 1500 mile trip. The fun continued as the trailer lights went out as I entered the state of Georgia. I had NO TAIL LIGHTS AT ALL!! For the rest of the 1500 mile trip!!! I had to purchase $25.00+ of reflective tape at a truck stop to put on the back of the car and also on the uhaul trailer so we wouldn't get ran into. 70mph traffic needed to see us as we traveled at a lower rate of speed & in the dark!! WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I told the person at the drop off point in Gloversville, NY about the issues so he could fix things for the next renter person.

The UHaul rep needs to research drops location. This location was 10 miles out of my way when I had a location 1.6 miles from my home. The location was not prepared to take my trailer but found me a spot to unload it. It was just a roadside stop & it seemed I could have dropped off at any UHaul yard. Need to be more user friendly for the customer.

Operator did not give me the cost. I had a reservation which stated $29 plus estimated taxes. He said the contract was emailed to me and I was ready to go, the email should arrive in a few minutes. With the $8 "fee" added it was over $40. I wasn't upset with the cost but the lack of disclosure at the time of pickup.

I passed another u haul to go to this one it was miles out of the way. There was only one spot left. The clerk was very nice!

We had to retrieve the truck our selves from an over grown lot behind there store and then park it back there at the end of the rental. The employees at the store did not seem to know how to use the UHAUL software and I was charged incorrectly for fuel and mileage. I called UHAL to have this corrected and they did not respond as they said they would.

We had to travel well beyond our original pickup location. We ordered blankets and a hand truck, no blankets and this location had no packing supplies. The truck inside was dirty and had a sticky floor. Staff seem uneducated in process of rental

My problem was I was sent to 2 alternate locations for p/u but never called by UHAUL to tell me of the change. I don't consider an email that I might look at hours later to be notice of change. I was caused a lot of grief running around and then sent 40 mi out of my way to p/u without ever receiving paperwork or anything. Disgusted with how you chase your customers around and then charge extra for mileage! UHAUL should be paying MY MILEAGE!

My pick up location was changed to a location 15 miles away from requested location. I returned truck, blankets and dolly to the nearest location near bushnell, which was 19.5 miles away. Now I am getting charged for over mileage and late fees for dolly and blankets. Is this a planned mistake to ilegaly milk me out of funds? I took pictures of the the truck and the equipment inside the truck at time of turn in. I also purchased a lottery ticket which will also note time of turnin. Please call me and or provide an email to allow me to show pictures of the truck and equipment

Poor English. Didn’t do a pre trip inspection and didn’t check to see if I had suitable towing package. Didn’t specify drop location! Wiring harness was wired incorrectly and deemed unsafe by highway patrol. This is the worst experience and the most unprofessional dealings I’ve ever had with uhual. I expect to be treated better next time and to be made sure that I have highway safe transportation. I’m appalled with the horrific and dangerous service that me and my family had.

First location guy was at the bar drunk. Second location took an hour I had to do everything to check out. Equipment was rusted couldn’t use it. Had to pay my neighbor $50 to fix trailer. Uhaul could of cared less

When I went and rented this U-Haul the owner of the store told me that it would be anywhere between $220-$250 and the mileage I was charged for it was 202 miles it was 62 miles there and 62 miles back so that’s 124 miles I would like a refund for my mileage that I was charged we also was broke down on the side of the road because this U-Haul had no oil in it we had to catch a ride somewhere to get oil to be able to put into this U-Haul just said we could get home I would like a refund for that I have never had such a bad experience

I have to get in touch with insurance company. The bent ramp broke our kickstand and we had to repair the lights. I did speak to a gentleman in your company and I have to get back to him to let him know how much the light bulbs cost that we replaced. The owner of the location didn’t seem to care about the issues and just wanted to sell us something off his shelf. I recommend you remove this location and put one elsewhere in Inverness. The bulbs and the spring for kickstand without labor coast about twenty dollars. It will most likely cost $180 in labor to replace spring on kickstand

The employee kept going back and forth helping other customers, it took me over an hour to get my truck and carts. Then I had to walk through the mud to get to the truck. The truck back was dirty, mostly grass and dirt. The front had crumbs and dirt in it.

Have the truck ready. When we showed up the location had our truck we reserved filled with garbage. He tried giving us a 20 ft truck in place of a 26ft. At first he lied and said the truck was broken then admitted he didn’t want to clean it out once I started calling U-Haul costumer service.

I didn't get any help getting my trailer and the area where the trailer was, the grass wasn't cut and there was a dent in the drivers side cover over the tire. I had no one to tell. And the pictures I was given was a trailer at a different location I believe. I also had to go out and check to see if the trailer I needed was there. She did not know what she had.

Service was great, trailer was clean, prices were affordable BUT a little instruction to renters as far as parking properly at drop-off would be nice. We had to maneuver the prior drop-offs in order to park decently. Thank you for great service and customer service.
