okay I giving this type of review because I wasn't the one to drop off the truck but I do want to say I did receive my receipt and I don't know why I was charged a couple dollars or something for being over in mileage is when according to my order I had unlimited miles but that's fine they took it out of the account but I don't know why anyway the best part of all of this was that I was able to hire helpers and that was the greatest idea ever And now that I know that I can hire helpers I will always hire helpers for my moves on both ends loading and unloading it was so wonderful and the guys I had Eric and Mike they were just great helpers so but I do think you guys have a lot of great things you're doing with the company and I'm happy with you haul and your service and all the things you offer us I think it's really good and thank you for what you do

This location didn’t process the return when I dropped it off, didn’t answer their phone, I made several attempts and I had to go back the next day and stay until they processed the return and then the owner got mad at me for not doing it myself, was very aggressive verbally and mean, I had to talk to him on an employee’s (his son’s) cell phone because he is never there but is the only one who processes rentals. I had to make over 10 phone calls trying to get this handled, I was told by several different people that I would receive a text or call back and never received either except from the last girl that I talked to in Lathrop where I picked up, she was very nice, helpful and actually called me back.

How about before you decide to repossess the truck during a roadside assistance call you let the customer know so they can get their belongings such as their medication and their daughters jacket before you leave them in a dark parking lot in a town they are not from when it’s 9 o’clock at night close to freezing.

Before renting here please check the mileage and fuel level entered in the contract as if you don't notice they will con you. Even though during the check in I took pic and send the same to U-Haul, they are yet to reimburse my money. Also, during reservation they told they had dolly but at the store I was told they don't. Even the truck was dirty with French fries and soda spilled all over the truck.

Picked up truck with out gas tank cap on it. Uhaul systems were down while picking it up. Never got a printed receipt or a confirmation of payment. Just a simple key to the truck.

Try not to add extra charges when you turn the unit back in we put in extra fuel and still tried to charge us for fuel. And extra miles even though we where under our predicted mileage

Why was I instructed to drop off in another city and charged for the mileage, this kind of BS just pisses me off, I had a storage unit for 7 years, each time I relocate for my job I use UHaul, moving forward any of my staff and myself will be instructed not to use UHaul!! So mad about this !!!

The truck was 100 miles from pick up spot... tow dolly was the wrong dolly and car had to be left in California where it continues to reside, We were refunded the price of the dolly minus the taxes, the cost of the having the truck delivered the 100 miles from where it was supposed to be or the fact that it will cost 1500 to ship the car from California to New Mexico.

It took us two and a half hrs to get the check in process accomplished. The truck had not been checked in from the prior drop off and so the mileage wasn't matching and the owner of the pick up location (not a uhaul dealer) was telling us not to worry about it. Had I not worried about it, I would have been over the mileage allowed and would have been charged. They didn't know how to get into the back of the truck to get the keys. I had to call uhaul (800) The pick up location was dirty, smelled like sewage. The truck was FILTHY. I almost just said forget it, I am heading back to reno and not loading my parents things. It was a terrible experience.

Teach the people that run the place how to rent a truck. It took 30 min to rent and 1 hour to return. I had no supplies and was charged for them $27.00 I will not ever go back to that location again

I made reservations and selected my pick up location on line. Pick up was scheduled for 9:00 AM, I did not leave till after 11 AM, The woman did not know how to do anything, was on the phone and eating breakfast, and ignored her other customers, She couldn't tell me what the problem was, did not seem to know how to navigate the computer, She put me on the phone with a man but that did not resolve anything, I think he was her husband. I had to tell her to wait on the other costumers because at one point there were 10 people waiting. I was suppose to be able to check out automatically with my phone, said I was checked out but I needed a key and there was a car trailer on the truck. Frustrated with dealing with the women behind to counter I called customer service and I kid you not, I was transferred 5 times!!! each time I was told I was being transferred to customer service, What! I called customer service, each person I spoke to should have been customer service! No one was able to help me, delete cookies clear browser, reboot phone, use app, don't us app, use browser, don't use browser. No resolution! Worst experience ever. On top of all this, my original pick up location was changed and this location was almost an hour from my start point! So bottom line the app and online process leaves a lot to be desired and don't ever send me to a remote, no experience location again! Such a horrible frustrating experience, and a massive waste of my time. Yeah I finally got the truck, nice set up for road rage, I need a drink after recounting this experience!

The agent was, apparently, the owner of a Quick Stop type market with absolutely no experience or training in renting a truck. The rental process took about 75 to 90 minutes, all the physical work or positioning the truck and dolly was done by me, I don't believe I signed the contract and I DID turn down the insurance which I was charged for. Not a good experience!

This is the second time I have tried to rent a 26ft uhaul in the last 6 weeks and each time I have been sent to a small non uhaul facility. Each time I have reserved an appliance dolly, moving pads and a piano dolly and each time these locations had no supplies. Forcing me to go to another location to get the supplies. From my last rental I am still waiting to get a credit back from the Yuba City location as I rented a car trailer that did not work for my car and I returned it after hours.

I had a confirmed reservation in Yuba City. They rented the truck to someone else anyway. Had to go to Colusa to get a truck. This threw the whole timetable off for this move.

The problem I had about U haul was huge! I called at least 10 times to get the correct place close enough to my destination! The employee was trying to send me 70,50,45 miles away from my destination! It was very upsetting! I'm not too sure if I'll use U haul ever again!

Have all the parts necessary to tow a vehicle. I had to use my own wiring harness because they had no connectors from the trailer to the pulling vehicle. I also had to purchase a hitch receiver because there were none available at this location. I doubt U-Haul would be supporting this outfit with such little help. Also, another person was in to rent a closed trailer and found a homeless man living inside.

I love having this location in Colusa CA its very much needed. but they need to have more help readily available for the rental business, its a grocery store and you have to wait while groceries are rung up in order to get processed it takes too long, took 37 minutes to drop off a trailer and I had to disconnect it as she was not physically able to do so on her own. Please help them become more efficient as we need this U-Haul facility.

I went to the place to pick up the Uhaul that I had reserved. They were unaware that I had reserved one to come out of that location. The person at the store did not know anything about the Uhaul system at all. She called someone else. We had to wait for 30 minutes. When the second person came, she was supposed to know what to do. She did not. She did not know how to use the computer, let alone the Uhaul system. She had to call someone else to help her with the process. I had completed the reservation and online check in the day before. Yet once there I had to do it all over again. We were there for more than an hour after the second person arrived. This is unacceptable! When I returned the truck the next day, I asked that they call me before charging my card. They did not check in the truck at that time. She kept the receipt. I did not get a copy. Earlier today, I received a call from the place where I rented and returned the truck. He wanted to know how long I was going to have the truck for. I told him I returned the truck yesterday when I was supposed to. He did not discuss the bill with me before charging my card. He charged 46 miles. Though I do not have my receipt, I do not believe I drove 46 miles. I will need to rent another Uhaul in 2 weeks, and this is my second bad experience in the last month I have had with Uhaul.

Pick up time for our trailer was set for 10AM. The rep could not find our reservation, they had to call someone else in who knew the system and 3 hours later at 1PM we were finally able to drive away with the trailer. Once we received our trailer, we had to spend our time cleaning it out since there was garbage inside the trailer from the prior user. Very disappointed and frustrated.

As i was driving some one from the market kept calling me! told them that i was driving!! when i stopped at a rest area it was already dark and the lights on the back didnt work i had to drive with the emergency lights on! i informed the people from the place were i got it from and he stated he would return my call and he never did!!!!

The store was okay, however it is also a mini mart which took a considerable amount of time to return the unit which was in part due to the employee being new (not his fault he did the best he could with the amount of training he had) but with all the other customers coming in to purchase items it would have been a problem for a lot of other customers if they were in a huge hurry.

Please ensure the worker on site has had adequate training about dispatching trucks/trailers. The young lady on site 8/3 had to call her mother to help walk her through the dispatch process and she was very patient but it was obvious she had never done it before. She called me back and kept me on the phone for a good 45 minutes and I had to repeat my credit card number to her NUMEROUS times during our conversation which really made me uneasy. The computer on-site "keep freezing up" and she eventually called U-Haul directly who walked her through everything properly.

It took 3 trips to finally get my truck. No one was there who knew how to rent a truck at my appointment time. I was told to return in 20 minutes; I came back in an hour, still no one to rent the truck. I drove home and started calling other U-Haul places, finding a truck about 10 miles away. I had just left home to get it when my original location called. I rented the truck there because it was closer. It was over 1 1/2 hours after I was supposed to pick the truck up. I had 6 people waiting on me to help move. When I returned the truck there was a problem with the mileage. It appeared I had driven over 4,000 miles in about 6 hours. Ultimately, they decided they had given me the keys to the wrong truck and I had taken it. I'm not sure how they figured the miles.

I was not happy that I had to drive 25 miles each way to get a truck when we have nearby uhaul locations. There were no boxes available for sale. I was surprised the dolly and blankets had to be rented not included.

This is a remote location and does not offer storage of any sort. they turn over the vehicles quickly but are not trained in the return process.. They have one staff memeber on duty running a mini-mart.. Uhaul clients have to wait while constant intruptions for theose making purchase of goods and lottery tickets. It took an hour to return one truck.. They day before I had to fix the computer for the representative only to find out she did not know how to return the auto transport..

Really nothing to complain about.I needed to tow my 66 vw bug to repair shop so I went to our local UHaul rented a trailer,got it where I needed to go.I really like those car trailers UHaul has this was probly the 4th time I use one and 4th time with no problems THANK YOU

First, the salesperson spelled my last name wrong. He did take and view information from my drivers license. I told him that I needed the truck to go from Colusa to Willows and then down to Lincoln. He wrote the contract from Colusa to Lincoln, sooooo we were charged an extra 68 miles. Turned in the truck, in Lincoln, where we found the mistake in the contract. Was informed on what to do, call the 800 number and tell the representative that "we signed" the contract with 59 miles, so we should have looked over the contract. Well, to go without saying that she didn't contact the store in Colusa or wanted to help rectify the error of the store clerk. Check the contract for ALL THE INFORMATION. And by the way, I did talk to the U-Haul rep about this. They charge the most shortest distance only. You better take into account that you will stop for gas, food and of course the things you have to haul! I won't use U-Haul again! They have a way of hiding things in the contract, so look for the "small print".
