If a customer RESERVES EQUIPMENT (dollies in this case) 2 weeks in advance it MUST be there. The local Uhaul shop had none. Called his regional mgr. NOT ONE DOLLY IN 2 HRS DRIVE TIME! But UHaul still billed me for it! Then I ended up buying dollies since Uhaul is NOT in the businesses of honoring reservations apparently. Took me 3 phone calls to get the billed but unavailable dolly taken off the bill. If you're in the moving equipment rental business and that's all you do: don't make your customers drive 55 or more miles to get a reserved truck waaaay out of town at another location AND make sure the blasted dollies are where they're promises they would be. After using Uhaul to move since the late 1980s, every move gets worse and next time around probably will use the yellow truck competitor. Uhaul is far to aggravating to deal with during an already stressful time such as moving day. Wasting the first day just to get the equipment!

There is ZERO reason to fraudulently charge another cost to my credit card. Unacceptable.

RENEE HI'm saying No to this because, I would have loved to know that there was NO RAMP. on the rent foot truck we rented. We had an incredibly difficult time getting furniture in and out of the vehicle because there was NO RAMP to help assist items up into the Uhaul. That significantly took away from the normally excellent experience that we have with Uhaul. I would not have even rented the truck if that information had been disclosed. The lack of ramp made the entire experience more difficult than it had to be. I'm disappointed with this experience.

Joseph KThe person at this location was not knowledgeable on how to use the system to correct the order. This took some 45 minutes to setup the billing and I was still charged more than what was quoted with the confirmation but couldn't wait any longer. The floor in the truck was dirty, there was a small dent in the box part of the truck and the radio was inoperative but we only went over whether the mileage and level of fuel was correct.

RICHARD BThe only thing I would make different is there is no handle on the door to pull down on just a strap which made it very hard to shut.
ANN MStarting with a full tank would help because then the customer would just have to fill it up at the nearest gas station before returning. Instead, I had to guess how many gallons were in the tank and how many I had used.

DONALD SThe pads I requested were not at the truck pick up location so I had to go to a second spot to get them. The rental site didn't have pads at all but they said they have not been renting trucks very long so maybe they just weren't fully equipped yet. They did not see my pad request in the computer though, so I'm not sure where the confusion arose. I made the reservation by phone with a live representative. Other than this one inconvenience all went smoothly and the truck worked out well. U-haul's link to Moving Help led me to find some very good helpers to unload.
