I did reservation weeks ahead went to pick up they refuse get rental because flat tires send me other locations where was close then did 3rd stop other location after 2 hrs later

We had rented movers for the day that we couldn't utilize and still had to pay them. When we were trying to pick up the truck in the morning the U-Haul system was down. The lady was scrambling around trying to get our reservation pulled up, had to call U-Haul we were all on the phone for a while all of a sudden the booking was changed to my husband's name and phone number even if I had booked it with my driver's license on file. Terrible experience, nothing good about it. Customer service was completely useless and rude.

Sai ThetI use a U-Haul Van on average two to three times a month but lately every time I order one online get my confirmation at a store near me a few days later I get a call that I have to pick it up someplace else. This place I came back going to replenish the gas only to find out the gas tanks were down, so either I can use more miles to get the gas filled up or get charged $25. Not too happy with the situation.

Duraid AliThis location was great due to the outstanding customer service from the young man there who assisted me, Shamelle. I don’t know if I’ve spelled his name right, but he is an exceptional representative. Kind, knowledgeable, professional, warm and he went above and beyond to help me. Renting from this location was like you had family who was lending you their truck. Give this young man a raise, there is no way he’s paid enough for his long hours and outstanding service. Shamelle puts the folks online to shame. Lindsey who fielded my question in the uhaul’s online chat was an amazingly awful. She made no effort whatsoever to understand what I said, to understand my request and not only did she not help me, she wasted my time, and charged me so I could add another driver and then did not accomplish that. If I based my impression of uhaul on Lindsey, not only would I never rent from you again, I would make sure nobody close to me ever did either. Shamelle, at the location we rented from is exact opposite. He was so personable and professional, he made me want to find a reason to rent from this location again.

How was me renting a truck for only 2 hours cleaning and putting gas back over $100 to rent. You people like to steal from innocent folks! This is a total rip off ! Nemoi ChisholmThe U-Haul was not cleaned out in the cargo bay. Also the tire pressure sensor for the right rear tire was not working. The drivers side window handle was missing the nob so it made rolling down/up the window extremely hard. There were cigarettes burns and rips within the vehicle. Also I feel this truck needs to be checked because it drove very rough and got horrible gas mileage. We drove 460 miles and spent almost $200 in gas

Mingfei TanThe truck was good but if they will charge you twice the amount it’s bad. Make sure you gave a good estimate on the mileage because they are going to charge you. I didn’t know how far will I go they just told me to bring it back before 4pm. I got it at 9am and finished at 2pm but they charge me extra because I estimate wrong on the mileage. I hope the management of UHaul knows what the customer service name Alexis is doing. It’s bad for the company

This truck should not be used again until it is serviced. Very unhappy and would like a partial refund as we were not allowed to switch vehicles for safety at our mid point move.

The uhaul was wet- the floor, seats and back part. I told him something waswas wrong with the truck, he ignored me and overcharged me. I'm not happy at all.

QUSAI SHAMMASMy wife and I reserved a 10 ft truck for a one way trip online. When we got to the site to pick it up, the gentleman asked where we would be dropping it off. I told him we would be dropping it off on the west side. He said, "That's not gonna work for me. You have to bring it back here. That causes a dilemma. I have someone that needs the truck later." I told him I reserved the truck as a one way and we would not be bringing it back. I asked if we did bring it back would he cover the additional gas cost, and he said no. Keep in mind there were no other trucks available around us, so we needed this truck. I told him my wife and I needed a moment to talk about what we were going to do, and he said "ok well I can't hold this truck for you. So if someone else comes in and they're willing to bring it back, I'm going to give it to them." This being said while we still have 20 minutes left until our scheduled reservation time. I went back to the car and called customer service. They said this truck is a one way only truck, confirmed my reservation, and said what he is doing is wrong. They got me on the line with the scheduling manager, and he asked to speak with the gentleman at the counter. I went back inside to give him the phone, and he tried to pull a fast one on me by saying, "They cancelled your truck." I knew this wasn't true because I had the scheduling manager on the phone. I just replied with, "The scheduling manager wants to talk to you" and handed him the phone. The gentlemen was talking to the scheduling manager, "What? This guy can't go find another truck? We're going to lose out on money, I have a guy who wants the truck and he's a doctor... Ok fine I'll rent this guy the truck then.." It was an awful way to start a day of moving, and I was shocked something like this would actually happen. I highly recommend using this place as a last resort and having customer service on stand by to secure your truck.
