I reserved a hand truck but when I went to pick up they did not have one. What is the point of reservations if the equipment is not there.

Tried to use the online rental portal, looking right at a trailer, the location was not even available. Wanted me to drive 7 miles farther. ??? Wound up renting the old fashioned way. Please explain why South Patrick shores, FL does not list a location.

Mike LogueBetter maintain the truck. When I entered the truck there was a cracked glass in lower windshield. Door to rear and ramp were not easy to operate. Door was hard to shut and ramp was hard to get locked in and placed back in truck.

Girard PhelanApparently a new employee. He was not accommodating, kept saying he didn’t even have a license to move the truck and/or trailer. Then I was charged for 2gallons of gas when I was given the all good. The gauge read over the amount from when I picked it up.

I spoke to an agent at the MAIN number on the phone the night before rental and added the Ins. coverage for $14, & rental rate of $40. plus tax Ins, and Mileage. My trip was less than 20 miles. why was the final charge so high?

Lisa BordenThe agent was great and very helpful. The only complaint I would have is partially my fault because I forgot my hitch. I purchased one at the site and was charged $64 for a ball hitch. As I said, I forgot mine so I had to pay the idiot price but a U-Haul hitch should not cost $64.
Kevin RodriguezI have rented the same size truck last week and I cannot understand why the fuel tank was showing a full tank...and after exactly twenty one (21) miles i had to add 6.6 gallons of fuel for $ 26.70 !! something is wrong as this truck is not gulping almost 7 gallons of fuel for 21 miles (it did not last week). Or the tank was far from full when i picked up the truck, despite the gauge showing "full"

michael AbergelFirst, I would like to know why, my reservation, was cancelled the day I was to pick up the autotrailer ? By the time a trailer arrived, an hour and a half late, that prevented me from covering the distance, I wanted to do for the day. Also, as I inspected the trailer, I noticed the right rear tire was badly cupped. It was replaced by Ricky Ruiz, Uhaul worker. Also several rubber safety guards were missing from the safety chains. So, I used electricians tape, to provide a safety on the chains. The employees at Charlies, are very helpful, made calls to Uhaul and had me hooked up and on my way, once the trailer arrived. I was not all that happy leaving late on my planned trip, just because, Uhaul decided to cancel my reservation. Doug Cresanta
