Our uhaul almost broke down on our 2000 mile move! Breaks quit working and the truck kept overheating, it was a complete safety hazard on the road! Definitely won’t be using any truck from uhaul ever again.

I would like to contest the charge we paid for gas, as we had to spend $130 to fill up the tank since whoever had it before us returned it with a basically empty tank of gas. (20 miles to empty)

A 26 ft truck was guaranteed at the w5th street Lumberton location. Received a call the day before informing me that I would now have to go 20 miles (each way) out of my way because they didn’t arrange pick up during the hours the pickup location was open. Customer service was supposed to call me back and didn’t. When I called back for an update I was met with horrible customer service and was spoken over the entire time. Asked for info regarding the $50 guarantee credit and still haven’t received an update. Thankful the Fairmont location had a 20’ truck that we made work at last minute.

The truck was nasty and smell like a cat sprayed in it. The back was not cleaned it had a dresser and lots of boxes in it that i had to remove. When removing roaches went everywhere. Also the mileage was in correct. The transmission is slipping qnd does not want to go in gear. Over charged for mileage but i did not take a picture so i didnt have a leg to stand on. I do have pics of roaches and junk.

Key wasn’t in the correct box for the correct truck! No Dolly was in the truck and still being charged for it. Notations we’re supposed to be made to adjust the price and nothing has been altered.

Be more aware of who your uhaul dealers are! The truck was not clean on the inside! Looked like it hadn’t even been wiped down after the last person drove it! It drove extremely rough! It was raining and the windshield wipers had not been maintained either! Couldn’t see with them on because it just smeared the rain! I paid for the $28 insurance coverage but when I originally reserved it online I had chosen the $18 one but the dealer had no knowledge of anything with my reservation and he chose which insurance coverage I was paying for even after I told him which one I had gotten. The side of the truck says gentle ride van but there was nothing gentle about that truck! Plus the frame of my bed broke during transport! We specifically put the frame where nothing was on top of it so nothing would get broken in the ride but that didn’t work out too good! Insurance should have a coverage that covers damage to your belongings during transport!

I love this place. The friendliest staff I have ever come across, and I use uhaul often. It is located in another town from me but anytime they have the equipment available I need, I gladly make my reservation with them.

Charged more than I rented for the previous weekend. Lady at the counter was new and had no idea what she was doing. I was charged for another day because lazy people didn't check the vehicles in first thing in the morning. Instead waited till closing time.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful going above and beyond. The truck however was dirty in the cab and the back. I had to sweep it out and clean off a large dried liquid spill in the moms closet part. It was definitely not covid-19 clean because it wasn't even regular clean.

Truck was clean however it had a very bumpy ride when going slow. It felt like the transmission wasn't engaging correctly and caused the vehicle to bump quite a bit.

Very helpful and willing to be sure that the exact truck and trailer combo was available when we needed it. In Lumberton no one was able to help secure that agreement. Will use the car wash first when renting in the Lumberton area.
