The guys working had very little to no knowledge on how to sign out a truck. Gave key and was sent on the way. Didn’t walk out with us to do walk around or even direct us to the correct one. Truck bed was filthy, inside cab as well. Charged wrong card as well after talking to a rep on the phone. I was told I could change the card at pickup, the guys here hardly speak English and all I got was “at drop off” but my card was already used!!!

I set up the reservation and even confirmed it with a location that was less than 2 miles from my house. I got notifies at 5:25 the night before that I had to pickup my truck almost 10 miles further away….. $.99 per mile, added $20 to my bill. Extra 30 minutes of my rental time was also gone. Maybe UHaul should consider that when billing customers for their own last minute changes?

Pierre BTrailer was tightly tucked in a line of trailers with zero room for my truck to get at the hitch. I had to push it out of the line and then could not turn it. Was about to call “bullshit” and turn the contract in and get a refund. Gas station kid must have seen me struggling with trailer.

BILL CThe biggest issue I have is that you didn't have a truck nearby so I needed to drive 25 extra miles out of the way to pick one up. At a buck a mile thats adds up. I had requested a truck at the location within walking distance but was only made aware the day before we needed it. It was too late to get another one. I don't think I should have had to pay to pick up a truck that was 25 mins out of the way. Inside the truck looked like someone spilled coffee or a drink all over the dash and floor and never cleaned it up.

Nina LLocation did not have the trailer I reserved 2 weeks prior, attendant very hard to understand and did nothing to try to assist. He just told me to "call u-haul." I did, spent almost 20 minutes on hold, and was given another trailer (at same price - the only good thing about this transaction). Since I was on a very tight timeline, I did a cursory inspection and left. Trailer was in less-than-stellar condition, missing a light and had one tire (of the 4) with its tread worn down to the reinforcing metal mesh. When I returned the trailer, the APP didn't work and I had to go back into the location to return it. This was a comedy of errors and I will more than likely not ever use this facility again. Emily HWaited inline for 45 minutes with 5 customers ahead. Had completed reservation on app and merely needed to sign contract and retrieve key. Instead, I was given the key and told no need to sign contract. Contract emailed to me was NOT signed by me which is unacceptable and illegal. In addition, I could not return truck to same location; therefore, I had to hire ride to travel the 21 miles to pickup location and, separately, 11 miles to drop off location. Therefore, 32 miles of 30 miles were used on picking up and returning truck along with rides before and after. At $1 per mile overage, the savings compared to others was not realized. No real value in using UHaul, Never again.
David SI was turned away from the location because their office did not open until 10 despite my rental beginning at 9. This lead to a delay in plans for our whole moving day. This is of course a problem with uhaul’s system and not the location

Ian BLocation is inside of a gas station and they have no moving supplies available such as boxes, tape, etc. I was also supposed to be getting a utility dolly and an appliance dolly and upon arrival I was told they do not keep any dollies or moving equipment and that they would just take those items off of my order. Luckily I had friends in the area I was able to borrow equipment from. The truck I rented was also very old and in rough shape. The steering wheel had to be held way off center to get the truck to go straight and I the engine was having multiple misfires and acted like it was going to die at stops on occasion. The back of the truck was also not swept out from the last people that used it

MATTHEW LI reserved a truck 5 days prior to the date I needed. The clerk wrote down all information for rental. However when I arrived on the date to rent the truck, the requested truck size wasn’t available. A larger truck at $30.00 more was offered. A huge truck wasn’t needed nor did I want to pay extra money. As I was extremely upset, the rental price was discounted by $20. There was never an apology offered. And due to the confusion, it took 30 minutes to get a truck. The experience wasted money and time. I’ll never use this business again.
Linda BWhen I arrived the employee was concerned with watching videos on TicToc while attempting to loggin and take care of me. Once I finally got my keys I went to the rental truck assigned to me and did a quick walk around to check for damaged then looked at the gas level in the truck which was 3/4 full the employee marked full on my paperwork I informed the employee of the mistake and he used a highlighter and marked 3/4 full now I have paper work marked full and 3/4 full. I asked him to change the level on the computer to 3/4.
