Absolutely ZERO assistance from this location. Didn’t help me unhitch my trailer and asked that my wife place furniture pads into a clear bag for resale. Pure laziness!!!!

It was unbelievably easy to pick up and drop off the 6' x 12' trailer I rented. No hassles.
Gregg SHad it maybe 2 hours... literally from portage to cambria and back... 1 load.. stopped in cambria put 10 dollars in before coming back... still got charged and extra 27 dollars for gas.. i know gas ain't cheap but yall screwed me in this deal... drove literally like 40 miles total and it cost me over 125 dollars total for a 2 hour run time.

Randall SMy truck was parked very narrowly between another truck and a trailer. To get the image of the front for the mobile check in, I had to walk in and crunch down brush. The folks at Blystone and the counter experience is always amazing though. Next time I will not use the mobile self check in.

John CThe location was fine. However the auto pickup is terrible. We are the 3rd person I know of who has had trouble with this online checkout. We wasted an entire hour trying to get this truck which made for much later day then should have been. Altbough there was someone at the place there was no signs saying it was open or anyone was there on a Sunday. So way more headache then needed to be. Also the check engine light was on in truck when we picked it uo so werent sure if we would be broke down somewhere.luckiy that didnt happen. I dnt think I will rent through the online service again.once you do go to a person they have to put everything through and fix all the errors and each one says yeah the online is terrible so maybd you need to fix this.

dominic pThis review is not specific to this location, however it is regarding Uhaul in general. I was scheduled to pick up a 26 foot uhaul at this location after calling to confirm a truck would be available (for non local). The day before pick up, I was notified by Uhaul that the truck was no longer available (since not in town drop off) so I had to travel additional miles to pick up the size of truck needed, in addition to pushing back the pick up time by 2 hours after we had planned our move accordingly. We arrived to the new pick up location on time and quickly learned that the truck we needed was down for repair and not available; we were told uhaul should have notified us but they never did. Turns out that this truck was down for repair for a few days without notifying us of this. I had to call and speak with Uhaul to go back to the original pick up location and as such had to do an in town drop off which required us driving back 2.5 hours to drop off the truck when we had planned for a one way trip initially when booking. At this point we were already 3 hours past our original pick up time and when arriving to Portage location the staff were friendly and helpful however the Uhaul personnel I had coordinated the new last minute pick up location with over the phone had double booked us, so the truck we were arriving to pick up was booked by another customer. Thankfully, Portage personnel were able to keep the truck with us and we were on our way. Uhaul did not communicate appropriately, had poor coordination, and directly impacted our move negatively by pushing back the pick up time and not having a truck readily available that caused us to drive additional miles and time to obtain one. I am super dissatisfied with Uhaul as a company and this whole experience has left me as a very unhappy customer.

mitchell pWindshield was cover in snow and ice. It was not prepared or ready for customer. The truck was dirty. There was trash from previous user. The utility dolly ordered was not available. The pick up location was switched last minute the day before.
