Staff was very happy and smiling the whole time. Very helpful and very effecient. Asked for some blankets and she went and got them and packed them all out to the truck. Very happy and helpful on the return of the truck and was out of there in no time at all. Had also contacted another location looking for a truck and the lady there was very helpful and tried to find a truck for me at other locations and when that failed, she took my reservation which set me up to pick up the truck at the above location. All in all both locations were a 10 out 10 for service and pleasantness to deal with. U Haul lucky to have them.

Daniella MThe drop off location was not having key drop facility. Customer support spent almost an hour to figure out some solution but nobody could help me. The location manager was rude and not supportive. Had to leave the vehicle at the location and brought back the keys with me. Next morning had to go especially to gove back the keys.

Robyn PYou can't improve upon excellence. I reserved and picked up a small moving truck on short notice. The effort to gather resources and rush-move a family member was kind of exhausting; but Taylor at Nanaimo U-Haul made my rental experience that afternoon stress-free. What an angel. Stanford UNicest lady/owner I've ever dealt with renting a Uhaul and I swore I'd never deal with Uhaul again after countless sub par customer service experiences. But after calling 8 other rental agencies with no availability, here we go again. Super glad I insisted on dealing with this well reviewed location at Big Green Storage and refused to pick up a van from the poorly rated Uhaul locations in the Nanaimo city center that the phone operators tried to pair me up with. Van was reasonably clean and low kms.
Jordan GHi. There were some safety issues with the van that required attention, but notes were taken and I am confident that the issues will be resolved. The lady (I didn't get her name) was extremely helpful and made it all a good experience.

SLOANE WKeep the gas tanks full. Asking someone to return a vehicle with precisely 3/8 of a tank, when the gas gauge in the vehicle has no such volume indication, is ludicrous. The gas gauge only shows 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and full. There’s no 3/8 showing, therefore requiring it to be returned with precisely 3/8 of a tank is incredibly annoying and rude. Everywhere else that rents vehicles keeps them full and they are returned full. It’s easy to fill up a tank. It clicks and stops filling when it’s full. Simple. How about putting your customers first, and choosing not to unnecessarily complicate something that is simple.

Robbie HWhen I picked up the vehicle I picked a different location for drop off as we wanted the 24 hour drop option. When we went to go drop off the truck we found that they changed the location. Not a big deal until we completed the check in thinking there was a drop box to only find out there wasn’t. Did a chat to find out they couldn’t change the check in or reverse the location so we could take it to a different location with a drop box.

Catherine FI am giving a poor rating because I was very specific that I had to move my belongings from Nanaimo to Gold River. The agent messed up and put my travel from Nanaimo to Campbell River causing me to pay extra milage on my journey.

AMARDEEP DClean the interior of the units. With covid being g so bad I was glad I brought my own Lysol wipes. I was constantly wiping it down and every time the wipes were black…. I was then told at the drop off location that they are not detailed Tell customers in a confirmation email that the u haul is classified as a commercial vehicle when booking on the ferry. I booked at over height and length. My reservation was canceled and told sorry…. I was lucky enough to get in the ferry as it was not full. But that is t the point
