Scott PSince you are supposed to be able to return 24/7, insure company gives gate codes if needed. We called during business hours, and no one answered. We went to the location, but cannot get in until a patron, who had a storage unit gave us the code. Then when we got ready to leave after dropping the trailer off, we were locked in and didn’t know the gate code to get out.

JULIANNE CRented two trucks, a trailer, and furniture pads over the course of a month. One truck’s A/C didn’t work in over 100 degree days. One mix-up in how the pads were checked out to me resulted in a 15 minute wait to return them. Most people were polite and accommodating. One EE was lazy at the point of one-way return location. He couldn’t anticipate what was the next step in getting the pads out of my truck and just stood there until directed by his supervisor. For the most part it was an easy process renting and dropping off.
DON DI had to travel 40 min to Angels Camp to find a 5x8 trailer to haul out of town. I originally called around to several locations including Manteca, Escalon, and Stockton. Manteca and Escalon never picked up the phone. I called the UHaul corporate number and got informed that some trailers are for in town only..wasnt told this at multiple locations I checked with.. I couldn’t believe how far I had to travel to find one of these after checking for a week. Customer service at the desk was bad at Angels Camp.. give them a call and you’ll know what I’m talking about.
Joel SI think we were over charged for our milage. It was my fault I didn't pay attention to that. But according to google time line, ( I don't know if it's right or not) but they over charged us 24 miles. And at 1.29 a mile. When your moving and broke that's a lot of money these days. Anyway next time I will pay attention. And they never explained we could go on line to turn it in or about mileage. And taking a picture of gas gadge.

Alan TAfter finally finding the place with horrible signage I found they did not have an appliance dolly that my reservation said they had. This was a key requirement for my move. I then paid for the blankets I never got. Just a dismal experience across the board.

Kevin KWhen I scheduled my truck it was for a different pickup location. However, that location did not have a truck to go one way. So uhaul had to schedule from a different location, costing me an additional 1200.00. Since the schedule issue was a uhaul issue and not my choice, I don’t believe I shou have had to pay an additional cost, especially since I had to travel an additional hour to pickup the truck. This was just wrong!!!

Craig FYour request/reservation system is anxiety producing.....as it turned out it was great....but one is not sure until right at the end. Other than that I found the experience excellent...easy from the pick up to the drop off. Good job!!!!!

LEONARD PAt pickup, the clerk told me I would pay 330 weekly rate plus 2x19.99 for 2 extra days. She put extra miles on the contract but said those would be refunded if I didn't use them. When I returned, the clerk said I owed 330 plus 2x89, even though I didn't use the extra miles. I've rented a lot with U-Haul and prior to this time I could always trust them to give me accurate rates and not try to scam me. I think it's just this particular location that's bad.
Maria MEverything with the service was fine except it was the wrong truck. Wrong truck, no ramp, and to small. We had to get another trailer.
Carla SThe number of UHaul vehicles available to rent in the period since the pandemic worsened seems to have diminished, if perceptions can be trusted. Lately the number of available rental vehicles on-station has all-but disappeared, it seems, making for continuing squeezes for suctomers trying to find ready rental vehicles, particularly unless more advance notice is provided. WIth the current RECESSION still causing financial difficulties for many folks, its difficult to understand UHaul's shortsightedness.

SCOTT BThe day I ordered the tracks I talked to a girl and told her that I wanted a one-way truck which we could drop off in San Andreas where we live but when I got there the next day to pick it up she told me that I had to bring the truck back to that location in Angels camp because it was their vehicle. So it cost us the extra mileage that we had to pay to get it back there instead of right next door where we could have dropped it off. And one more thing the girl on the phone the day before quoted me at 1.01 a mile and it was 1.09 a mile when I got there the next day go figure

Lindsay AI was not happy with my reservation experience at all! We were told there was going to be a truck ready when we got to SanJose- there was not- we drove 2 hours backtracking to Angels Camp for a truck that was too small- we ordered a 15ft and only got a 10ft. This was a fault of dispatch not the pick up location (pick up was great) Dissapointed- Do not accept a reservation with uhaul until you get confirmation of pickup- we were told we would get confirmation the night before- never happened- I called them!
