These representatives need to refrain from asking for irrelevant and unnecessary information. They need to also stop reaching out, especially via text message, when they have not been given permission to do so. Further, they need to improve their customer service skills tremendously.

All was fine until I returned the truck. These two people (married couple) have no business operating a business, and the worst experience I have ever had. The lady is mean and rude. I am not sure why the lady asked me to come in and sit down, when everything was settled through the app, and I was free to go so when the man came in, I gave him a thumbs up as if I am good to go, asked me, “If I was the only one to return the truck?” I said yes. And then he's said, “Then get out of here. Why are you doing? Get out!” I told him that the lady asked me to come in and sit down until she was done with the other customer. Again I couldn't imagine why I had to sit there and wait. I'm gonna report this business to the Better Business Bureau. I'm reporting it on Google reviews, yelp reviews. And anywhere else I ca. the man is vulgar and mean and has no business dealing with the public. The customer who the lady was helping, turned to me and said he berated her and she was actually filming him with her phone.

The old man is rude, untrustworthy of customers, bothered to help me register because I was a couple minutes off from scheduled pick up, condescending and other words I choose not to use. I moved a mechanic's toolbox ONLY and was charged a clean up fee, plus a "after hours fee" even though I did mobile app pick-up/drop-off which, customer service informed me, does not assess that charge. The owner of Aqua Vitae Worse Store charges me. Terrible, horrible, and inconvenient store owners.

U-Haul system displayed error and would not send required text message to complete pickup. Male at the pickup location was rude and not helpful and said we needed to wait until we received the text which clearly indicated was encountering a system error. The female employee spoke to him and he reluctantly assisted us with the pickup process which he was obviously able to do from the beginning. He provided extremely poor customer service. The vehicle was very dirty inside and out. Plates didn't match and while we were completing the contract, they said to bypass the cleanliness rating as well as the confirmation that the license plates matched because they were already aware they didn't match. Will never rent from this location again.

The owner was very rude. I mentioned casually the paperwork was different at this location. She snapped at me and told me not to tell her her job. Then she asked why I'm renting a uhaul anyway if I already used one. I will never go back there again. We even turned our truck in a day early so we could get having to deal with them over. We still don't have our money turned back to us and it's been 3 days

I have used U-Haul many times over the years in fact 3 times in the past year moving my girlfriend. The Agoura Hills location which was fantastic!!! This place was a disaster from the start. I kept asking for a copy of my paperwork but the lady kept saying she emailed it to me. I asked her to confirm my email and she did. Finally she said sometimes it takes a little while. A customer in front of me was having the same problem. I never got any emails or paperwork, even checked my spam folder as well. When I got into the van the engine light was on and that concerned me. I told the lady and she said the vehicle was fine. Dropped the truck off around 1:15pm but the same lady said she would check the truck in later, she was busy. Again I asked for my paperwork and once again she said she would email it to me. A couple hours later I noticed I was charged another fee on my debit card. I tried calling the office but they were having a problem with their phones. Finally a few hours later i spoke to the same lady who's told me she charges me an extra $25.00 + $5 fee for I don't know what because the 6 blankets I rented were not folded. I was furious - I would have been happy to fold the blankets but one she never said anything when I picked up the van nor did I have any paperwork on hand to specify what my responsibilities were. She was rude, loud and kept talking over me. And I want to point out the rentals in Agoura never asked us to fold the blankets. I will never use this location. You cannot just charge somebody without proper paperwork not to mention why she didn't specify the blankets needed to be folded is beyond my comprehension. This is a lousy store with lousy customer service.

I requested an in-person check in. I received a text from the location saying they wouldn't be there and I'm going to have to do the mobile check-in. Okay no biggie. I give all my info but don't receive a text for the code to get the keys. I had to call customer service. I get in and the truck's gas is completely empty. I call customer service to report it. I return the truck and when I note my mileage it tells me I drove almost 100 miles and I only drove 18 miles. I called customer service and they sorted it out, thankfully but this location is bad.

Horrible customer service. Ended up in a screaming match with the woman where she insulted my looks. Hard to find the location because the just use a small sticker with the sign of the previous store. Defensive when suggested to use a new sign. Lots of damage on the truck and no indications on the truck to mark previous damage. The woman rushed me through the page to confirm the previous damage and current condition and got upset with me that I was sending my own pictures of the current conditions of the entire truck, so they wouldn't scam me. She added a fee to equal a total cost of $112 when my rate at purchase online was around $30 plus $1.09/mile. I was only going 20 miles round trip so that doesn't add up. And she told me to fill the tank up, when I received it close to empty. The miles on the u-haul app didn't match up with the truck. When she was showing me the trucks she told me to lift the hatch and got upset when I told her she never showed me how. WOULD NEVER USE U-HAUL EVER AGAIN. IN MY LIFE

My first time renting in Uhaul I called someone reserving it at 8am but called around 5pm to change the time which a person couldn't communicate properly and said everything is ok. The time of pick up there's no van reserve for me which delayed me but the good thing is when I called the reservation number they gave me this location and got my rental van. When i got there the lady who ask information was slow and ask a lot including personal stuff. The old guy was rude when we drop off the cargo van

This is my second time renting from Aqua Vitae. They are so nice, helpful and even made me laugh. It's not much fun moving but meeting nice people made it a better day then I thought.

Rented a van for 4 hours. Only moved a table and chairs and used their rented blankets. Returned clean but they still charged a $25 “cleaning fee”. Also, I arrived on time but they took 20 minutes to check me in after waiting for prior person being helped. So, when I returned van 4 hours later they charged for full day rental even though the delay was theirs.

They charged cleaning fee when van is clean They gave me the van empty in gas and I return van with quarter of thank but still they charged me for gas I picked up van around 11 pm then return van same time but they charged me an additional day. The worse service ever ever !!!!! I need all this unnecessary charges back into my bank account!!!!

No gas in the truck and when I put $30 of gas in the truck I went 4 miles and the gas was gone it said low gas. I had to turn around return the truck and then she didn't want to credit me for the gas that I had put in there . It cost me more money because I have to waste a whole hour of leaving and coming back to return to a better truck and then she charged me for the gas and more what should have been $50 to turn down to be more like $80 and then she did not want to talk to me or go over the contract with me. The customer service is terrible and I would like to be contacted by U-Haul to discuss what happened

It took me 2:30 minutes from 10 PM till 12:30 AM to check in. And it took 2 hours to drop off the truck. Uhaul services were down and unavailable. Until out of nowhere the owner of location showed up. Very helpful person. He took the truck and told me he will do the paperwork next day when servers are up and running. Overall, it was the worst experience ever. I spent more than 2 hours each night outside where there were no seats, no convenience, no wifi, and no helpful person online, onsite or over the phone.

My wife and I, we are VERY DISAPPOINTED !! Please read well all the concerns and issues this vehicle has. From the begining ( before we took and drive it ) we've stated in the report / check in form all the problems thos vehicles has, like: Crashes in multiple sides, Dirty Inside and Outside, Air Conditiining Does Not Work, etc. Beside everything, the NOT PROFESSIONAL manner of the person in charge of the check in and to receive the vehicle. We really will not the NEVER more.

The owner put me in a dangerous situation. Got into a screaming match with 3 ladies and made it very uncomfortable. Also there was 3 men detailing cars in the back that started screaming at the owner to stop harassing the ladies. Put me in a dangerous situation. I had to take an Uber and get away from the Situation since this location is in a gang neighborhood with gang graffiti and homeless people all around. Go anywhere but here. Also I got a call a few hours after I picked the rental up that the location had overcharged me and that's U-Haul would pro rate or fix the issue. Didn't resolve the issue. I have this all on video. Depending on how U-Haul addresses the situation will depend if I want to post this ordeal on socal media.

Not only was I given a dirty vehicle with poor service but this location also added in extras that I did not ask for. Once I noticed I was told the extras would be removed. 4 hours later when I returned the vehicle the receptionist tried to charge me without removing the extras. I pointed it again and she said she has taken care of it but evidently; once I checked my bank statement I see I was still charged. Very fraudulent store .. badly managed and not following rental procedures. No one is checking the vehicles before they're rented and because of my complaints I was then told I can use any other location and don't need to go back there. Very bad business for Uhaul.

Lady that helped me was kind and helpful, however upon entering door sensed tension from the owner or older guy working there. They questioned me why I rented the truck through the app instead of going inside. I guess the app gave me a truck that they wanted to give someone else, but that's not my fault. Besides that, truck was fine, got assistance when I needed. And return was simple.
