Location is fine. Staff is great. The app could use improving and it would be better to be able to do your check off list through the app rather going to another website. Also a heads up on how long the check in photos take once you firing the truck back would be good. Stressful given it was dark and raining and then I have to take all these photos and upload and stressed about being counted as late since since I didn’t know it was going to take another 10-15 just to drop off the old bag barely hanging on auto parts off.

The picture of the truck didn’t have paint chips missing on the front hood .. There needs to be a more current photo, so the renter wouldn’t get charged for misuse… I had to point it out to the manager after noticing the hood defects, before I signed …..

I rented 15' Truck. This is absolutely old vehicle and very badly maintained! Drive was wobbly indicating wheel balancing issues, engine kept ramping up every few minutes with high RPM, gear shifting rod had lots of play, steering wheel had lots of play (you really had to keep turning the wheel both sides continuously to maintain control!!! Overall the driving experience was terrible, this vehicle should not be rented in its present condition. I called support and spoke to 3 different people!!! I was promised a UBER free ride voucher from UC Santa Cruz instead of driving back to Dublin, CA. I never got that voucher, so I had drive back!!! I was also promised a credit back of what I paid for this horrible experience! Hope this feedback gets the attention it deserves!!! One more point, my phone 209 814 8210 is showing as owned by someone else on your website??? I had this phone for 20+ years, so not sure how this could happen! I did have a concern about "Return" of the vehicle. The rental session was fantastic. However, when I returned on tme with full gas fo course. The representative was extremely casual and respectful and said all was ok, which was great but I never got checked out with my paper work, mileage total, final bill, etc. So now I am waiting to see what was chaged, etc...thats not good...

Didn’t realize returning the vehicle was a separate transaction. If you rent the vehicle via cell phone you need return via cell phone . That wasn’t explained nor was it explained the storage place I rented the vehicle from was a separate affiliate, not a uhaul company. I returned the rental vehicle at the exact time I paid for and the person behind the counter let me know rather curtly if she had to process the return, I would be charged a late fee. Don’t need to be treated like an idiot for not knowing the process.

I returned the uhaul and there were no spaces available to park it because another uhaul parked over two spots. Rather than wreck the uhaul I rented I parked it safely in the handicap spot after hours and received a citation. How is this fair? Poor service the other driver should be cited

Checking in on the App was a horrible experience that I will never use again. Also I never asked for a hand truck but was charged for one, the office was closed and I could not turn it in. Your online reservation system automatically selected the hand truck be charged in my reservation. That is not legal. I was refunded the $7 charge, this needs to be changed.

This is a review of the Uhaul company, not the Dublin location. I drove 4 hours to pick-up a guaranteed truck rental from Santa Rosa, CA so I could move someone back to Quincy, CA. I paid for a hotel the night before so I could be back in time to get my kids from their daycare That morning I got a call saying they had no truck in Santa Rosa. I contacted UHaul who said there was a truck an hour away in Fairfield, CA. Suddenly two hours plus fuel is added to the moving process. On my way to Fairfield, I got a call from the Fairfield operator saying they had no truck. Another upset call to UHaul. They said they had a truck in Dublin, CA, a 3-hr round trip drive to get back to Santa Rosa from which the move was to take place. I requested to speak to a supervisor regarding recompense for the extra cost/time/mileage, not to mention having to leave my grandkids stranded and paying extra cost of daycare. There was not a supervisor available and I did not receive a return call from one as promised. Three days later I called again to speak with a supervisor to the same result: no one available, I'll receive a return call, no return call made. What I was offered from the representative I first spoke with was 50 extra miles and $100 off the rental fee. I told them this does not offset the extra cost of having to travel with my personal vehicle from Santa Rosa to Dublin and back, 180 miles, along with the truck for the return trip, having to pay my helper the extra time expense, extra cost for daycare... and the extra fuel cost! I traveled from Quincy, CA to Santa Rosa the night before, paid for a hotel, then drove from Santa Rosa to Dublin 900 miles back in the direction of Quincy, then back to Santa Rosa, then back again in the opposite direction to Quincy. Absurd, Uhaul! The extra cost to me mounted to roughly $600. Uhaul gave me a discount of $100 and 50 miles. Doesn't seem like that adds up. And a supervisor couldn't be bothered to show the decency of good customer service to even call me back. Uhaul has done a great injustice in this in not making right the poor experience I had. As a result, if they continue to do nothing to make it right, they lose my business and hopefully other's as well.

You guys changed my reservation on me 3 times. The truck I originally reserved was not available, and then the replacement truck I reserved was moved to a different location 24 hrs before my pick up. Literally every time I use Uhaul some bullshit like this happens. Figure your fucking shit out fuck bags

I picked up the truck at 7:15 am. The process to get the lock box code was aweful. I had to call, the call was terminated because I was on you chat and it just stopped. Had to call back and start over. The whole dual documentation and alternate contact was not known until I did the process! You should have told me what I was going to need. Seriously, all that should be needed is a Valid Drivers License and payment. If I had not been alone when I picked up the truck I might still be there! I undersatand you need information, but the photo, the DL, and the CC should be enough. I lost almost an hour in the process. On the good side the truck ran very well, it was comfortable enough and the drop off process was super smooth. In the end Thanks!

Staff did not leave keys in the drop box as requested and therefore, I had to wait to get into the vehicle. . Staff was rude, uncooperative, combative. This location should not be considered for Uhaul rentals in the future as they are not equipped to handle Uhaul customers.

When I picked up the truck, I was on a very tight schedule. I was sent a message indicating that if I didn't respond to the message, that it would be assumed that the truck condition was fine. I did a visual check of the truck exterior and interior and didn't notice anything greater than normal wear and tear, so didn't respond. When I started the truck, the gas gauge was at 3/4. I was expecting it to show full. The last Uhaul rental I did was very much better, so I'm very disappointed in this service. I would not use this rental location again.
