Update 3/1 - Was a mix up and I was refunded the extra gas charge fee. Front desk was super nice and apologetic for the mix up. Would recommend this location for sure.

Everyone at the Los Alamitos store are wonderful! They have given me speedy service, I’m in and out in no time. Returning the van has also been easy and quick. It’s a well run store, no complaints at all from this customer!

This was not the original location I planned on picking up the truck from. There was a problem with the return of a truck to meet my reservation. I was directed to ABC Pools they did not want me to leave my vehicle there. I left and came back with my wife to pickup after loading U-haul with furniture I was donating. I'm not sure what can be done about a vehicle not being returned on time but it did add to mileage for my rental.

Have rented numerous times in the past and never had problems...this time truck was overheated after driving for 10 miles...and engine light came on and temp rosed to 260. Road Side Service came out within an hour and added coolant to fixed issue. Also has some sort off oil leak and i have a 3 foot long oil mark on my driveway.

Every aspect was top quality, painless & efficient. UHaul’s Mileage rate rather steep, but with such a reasonable day rate, the company must make up for that some place.

No parking for my vehicle. They advised to park on street but signs read NO PARKING 6sm-6pm. When I told them I did not want a ticket a very gruff women advised me that it is not their fault if I get a ticket even though they told me to park there. Tires needed air when I drove it off the lot. The add air light was on. The young man who helped me was very professional and courteous.

I really enjoyed my experience with this location, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. This definitely feels like a family run establishment, which is so refreshing to see. Renting a vehicle for any reason can be stressful, especially a large vehicle. But, everything went smoothly and there was no stress at all. I highly recommend this location and will use them for all of my future uhaul needs. Thank you so much!

I have rented here a few times with a great experience, but this time a young lady was on staff that really could use some lessons on customer service. Also not pleased to kearn that they dont clean their furniture pads between use. She literally made me fold those dirty things before I left. Wtf.

Be truthful to your customers in regards to the gasoline meter. We only used it for a few miles but we put $19 of gasoline

I would not recommend this location due to they charge me 2 mile and 2 gallon of gas at $6.00 per gallon, when when my destination is only 900 ft to and from each other and the U-Haul location is next door to it. The gas gauge did not even move. I advised alway rent U-Haul location not from third party.

I paid for the blankets as part of my reservation and after my rental I received a call to inform me that the charge was "only to rent the blankets, not to keep them". I have rented from branded uhaul locations before and they charge you to keep the blankets there. After discussing with the store they still proceeded to charge an extra $5 to keep the blankets, not sure why go through that much trouble and annoying your customers for $5. Should simply align with the practices of the rest of the uhaul locations
