Wesley VighThe outside and inside of the truck were relatively clean except for the side mirrors that were covered with bird droppings. Shortly after taking the truck on the road I heard a loud metallic noise that prompted me to pull over to investigate. I reported the issue to U Haul. And while driving the truck for local move my helper and I heard several metallic noises that appeared to be coming from the undercarriage. Also the transmission was grinding at times especially when in reverse. The odometer was under 35,000 miles so the truck noises was a surprise. I prior rentals the U Haul trucks performed very well.

Stephen SkirkaMy scheduled pick up was 9:30, I wasn’t taken until 10:15. Uhaul changed my pickup site. Originally I was set for Milford PA. Uhaul changed my pickup to Lackawaxen PA which was 30 mins out of the way after already getting on the road 45 mins later than planned. Then my drop off location was changed miles away from the previously arranged drop off. After calling and complaining that I would be on foot after dropping off, it was then changed back.
KEVINJ BARTHAThe owner of this location doesn’t like renting trailers. He didn’t want to trailer back when I was done. But I couldn’t afford the one-way drop off fee. I was charged the 6 x 12 rate even though I reserved a 5 x 9 trailer. I was never told a 5 x 9 was not available until I got to the location and the only trailer he had was a 6 x 12. I rent a 5 x 9 trailer over 40 weekends a year for four years. This is by far my worst experience. Plus I was overcharged.

EDWIN JR RODRIGUEZReturn after hours and was charge a $50 clean up fee for U-Haul blankets that I didn’t rent. Charge a after hour drop or fee because I could not close out the contract by phone because there is no cell service in the area. I called the owner and he was nasty and refused to discuss the charges. Stay away from this U-Haul dealer he is bad news!!!!!

RAQUEL JIMENEZWhen we got there at the appointed time of pick up the guy at the desk said he wasn’t informed about the pick up, because you first have to talk to us at the location, nit to u-haul dispatcher. So even though we had confirmed the day before actually twice, that the equipment was there, he didn’t know. So if those misunderstandings can be cleared it would be easier to avoid confusion. Otherwise the experience was awesome. Truck was spotless and all went well. Thanks.
Morrin BassDon’t change prices once given. Don’t tell the customer a day that the facility is closed. I was told I could pickup on a day facility was closed. The guy was frustrated and upset to come in on an off day. It was not a good experience. Would never go there again. Ray got upset and told me he would leave, that he was doing me a favor because I refused to pay twice as much as I was quoted.

Dean BedwellLocation charged us a after hours fee and cleaning fee of $42.40 for a truck that was returned at 3pm. Staff was rude on the phone when I asked them to explain the fees. Will never rent from this establishment again. Sad!

Mark SmithI made reservations for 4 trucks on the same day. The reservations were made 2-3 months in advance. Then to days before pickup, I get notified that I was assigned 4 DIFFERENT PICKUP LOCATIONS. I literally spent 4 his rounding up the trucks. Uhaul had plenty of time to arrange my trucking needs. This was unacceptable and inexcusable. I am furious. The locations were very helpful though.
ISAAC PERLIn my lifetime I have rented numerous vehicles from uhaul in all different types of locations. 590 service was by far the best.....they were very helpful....exceptionally nice and very easy to work with I would highly recommend them to anyone!
JOHN KAMPThis is for the Operations Department of UHaul, not this dealer. My original drop-off location (Tafton,Pa) was no longer a UHaul dealer. I had to drive 20 plus miles further to drop off the truck. Your website for locations should always be current so that what happened to me does not happen to other Customers.

CARY RINGELSend a rep from Uhaul to visit this horror show. Its ran out of a filthy garage with no customer service or professionalism. Owner was over an hour late for my pick up. I was just walking around outside this dump waiting. There is no CELL service in the area so YOU JUST WAIT! The equipment is located across the street in a muddy opening next to a junk car storage lot. The trucks, vans and trailers are in literal mud. Customers are expected to dredge into the mud to get to the equipment. Horrible experience . UHAUL GO SEE THIS PLACE IN PERSON!

He also went clear out of his way to make sure that I got the equipment I needed. He was a pleasure to deal with, and I highly recommend renting from him!
Theresa Shanoff590 service station went above and beyond yo get me a truck. My experience with uhaul before contacting 590 setvice station was a disaster. The customer service rep was rude and not helpful. Did not attempt once to make my experience better. Will never use the website or the corporate office again. Will go local. Again the specific location (590 service station lackawaxen,pa) was fantastic, but the corporate part was awful, may think twice before using them again.

Dorene WarnerThe location was amazing..uhaul Was terrible...they changed my truck location withought telling me...yeah real cool..I had to be their boss and do their work for them..they made it so much more stressful to move than necessary...never again..they got my money once,and never again..and the manager Roxanne was ignorant and non helpful or empathetic by realizing they messed up my reservation,she wouldn't budge or do anything in her power (she said she was a supervisor,but didn't accommodate me for their mistake) this is my first and last uhaul experience...
