I hired packers through uhaul and had my ubox shipped to my new residence. By the time I receive it, all the furniture was damaged. Since I bought 2 different types of insurance for the trip I didn't think it would be difficult to settle a claim (especially because I was only looking for enough reimbursement to cover the supplies for me to make the repairs myself) but instead they passed the buck and told me I needed to have had a third type of insurance.

Poor communication and no furniture blankets were provided at all. It said we should have had 10-12 blankets when I booked. We scrambled around to find blankets in our home - resulting in an antique desk with a huge gouge taken out of the front during shipping.
Heather HEveryone I spoke with was extremely friendly and helpful. Great communication about drop off and pick up. Daisy from U-Haul scheduling was a stand out and also Jackie who dropped off and picked the u-box from our new home. It was a good experience all around and would strongly recommend.
