The attendant was kind and had good customer service. There were other l customers needing attending first and she let me know I wasn't being ignored and that she would help as soon as she was good. I appreciated the comment.

Overall my experience with U-Haul was very poor I reserved online for a location that the day before my pickup they changed the location to a different one that was completely out of my way and the opposite direction when I picked up the trailer I was given a certain time that then I was told was incorrect by the lady at the pickup location made to feel like I was inconveniencing them then the trailer lights were broken and the equipment did not properly work.

Truck was clean, staff was nice, and it was full of gas. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was super helpful. It was a bunner how far we had to drive for a truck because so many still havent restocked. We also only got a 17' instead of a 26'. So we ended up doing 60 miles more than anticipated due to the trucks location and having to do 2 loads
My first time renting from this location and The lady working at this location was very nice and made it quick and easy.
Keep your records organized and stop overcharging people. After standing for over 20 minutes waiting to return, we have been charged for an extra day! This is outrageous and downright theft. I want my money back now. To add insult to injury, I've been on hold for 40 minutes trying to resolve! What a poop show. I'm going to tell as many people as possible about your company's practices and horrible customer service!
The truck I rented had transmission issues. I called U-haul to try to figure out how to deal with them but didn't get any help. The truck would not shift when going up hills and the RPMs kept revving higher and there was a burning smell at times. Thankfully it made the 2500 mile journey but there were times when I thought it would not. Trucks should be in optimum working condition for customers especially when going long distances.

I had asked for a drop off location 2 miles from my home. Instead I had to go 23 miles to this location. The truck only gets 8 mpg. That means more expense that could have been avoided.
Overall experience at the beginning of the rental was difficult and sprinkled with problems to say the least. 1) due to routing with your system, it told me the only location with a trailer next to my starting location was 50 miles away. I went to go get the trailer. 2) At the first location, the hitch would not fit over the ball of the trailer. This was due to a recent repair made on the trailer by the location. They were unable to get the trailer to hook up. 3) They found me a trailer that happened to 5 miles from my starting location. Why did the reservation system not send me here first? So, I drove the 50 miles back to get the new trailer. This whole mess cost me 100 miles of driving and almost two hours of lost time. The location I finally got the trailer from was great! They went above and beyond. The next problem came when I got the trailer home and opened the door. I was hit with the strong smell of cat pee. So, I had to drive the trailer to a friends house. I rinsed , bleached and scrubbed the trailer. This meant another hour of lost time. I called the U-haul customer service line. The first person I talked to, their computer froze so they sent back on hold to talk with someone about the issue. They told me I would receive a call regarding the issues I had. To date, no phone call has been made. My overall experience was extremely frustrating with a lot of lost time and miles driven. Add the lack of follow through on customer service following up adds to the frustration.
