Overall I was happy to finally get a U-haul. I did not like the fact that I recieved 2 different confirmations on 2 different days. I reserved a U-haul a week in advanced and then recieved an email confirming a certain time and location. Great! What a relief, right? Wrong! I received another email confirming a different location which was a half hour away. Now I had no idea which location to go to since I never received an email stating the 1st one was cancelled. Mind you, this all happened the night before I'm supposed to move. Having to drive a half hour to pick up and drop off and then pay for that mileage is not right. I wouldn't been satisfied if I was offered a smaller truck closer than having to pay extra mileage which was out of my control. I dont think I'll ever use the online system again. I've always used U-haul and have never experienced such disappointment. The gentleman I dealt with at the location was very kind tho, so that was a plus.

Paid for 100 miles , only put on 26 miles , u haul won't reimburse unused miles .... won't use u haul again and won't recommend them either

This was not the location I reserved. It was open 1 hour after I reserved it, and it was a 50 mile round trip from my home. This cost me extra fuel AND extra time. I find it insulting that you didn't grant any additional cost reduction.

The local place was great. I'm very disappointed in U-Haul Corporate! I ordered a 10' truck online. Checking the day of move, it was changed to 17' and increased rate. I called in to customer service and someone named Phillip was to call me back. I have not heard from him. I had to pay the higher rate. I expect a refund.

The issue: I ordered a trailer from Stevens Point. The order acknowledgement showed Stevens Point as the pick up location and when I arrived to pick it up, I was told I had to pick up in Wisconsin Rapids- 40 minutes away- COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!

I requested a 10ft truck, which the website made it seem like it would be available, but instead I got an email the night before saying I would have a 26ft truck. Loading up the truck and driving it around with furniture for a one bedroom apartment was a nightmare. I have never driven anything larger than a mini van and was genuinely surprised that I was allowed to operate the vehicle without a special license.

I picked up at 4 in the morning it was pulling hard to the right th right tire only had 15lbs of air stopped at gas station and aired up tire there was no valve stem cap so must have been a problem. Then realized both front tires were bald on the outside edge of tires and inside was like new. Both front tires were visibly leaning outward on top. Needs front end work. Then got to place to load truck, and there was no loading ramp.wguch made it a lot more work to load. I called and he said he would get back to me an never did. Also he said his printer was out of ink so I didn't get bill. Then was charged for 2 days even though I had truck back at 5 that same day they say they close at 5 but he was out working somewhere else. Called the next day and questioned what I was charged a main he said he would call back when his dad got there and didn't. Not a good experience Would not recommend but probably share my experience and discourage. At that location for sure. Hopefully not like this at other locations.

When I picked up my truck, the window had been left rolled down. As it had rained, the seat was wet, leaving the backside of my pants quite wet as well. Also, since the window had been rolled down and it was quite cold the night before, the inside of the windshield had frost buildup. Lastly, the pickup location that I had requested had been confirmed. Only to find out the day of that it was actually a different pickup site. It was only a couple miles away but this made for some confusion upon pickup. I then was later than planned picking up, meaning the people I had enlisted to help me move were waiting at my house for some time before I could bring the truck. Overall, I was unhappy with this U-Haul experience.

Attendant came in after hours for turn in however, the paperwork wasn’t processed until the next day. Initially I was charged for another day, which was refunded.

I was supposed to pick up my uhaul from Barrets auction where they said they would adjust the milage because I had to drive 32 miles to their location to pick the truck up. When I got there, the truck was not there so I had to wait over an hour to get a truck from a different location. Once I got a truck it was not the size I requested. The new location refused to adjust the milage and honor the previous agreement. I am very unhappy with this transaction.
