This location did not have my tow dolly waiting for me although I reserved it 2 months in advance. Then I had to go to a different location and they claimed I didn't pay for the dolly when I had the receipt in my hand. The previous location charged me 44 dollars in â€œ taxâ€ when it was really for the dolly. I had to pay twice for the same tow dolly. Won't use haul again. Cost me time and additional money due to their incompetence. Dissatisfied.
The mini Mart man was very helpful! Uhaul website not so great, reservation was expired for no reason.
I would say to put more information out to this location. I would also see if the process could be a little quicker, but all in all it was a good experience for me.
we got there there Sunday evening instead of Monday morning and got served with some attitude. I dont think she knew what she was doing or was about to get off work, but she was RUDE to my husband and dropped the F bomb. Otherwise, the truck was ok.
I reserved a UHAUL online. So I did the online check in as I got to the location. He came outside and asked if had a reservation, I said yes. I'm checking outline. He told me to stop. Looked up my name and said I don't have a reservation. He made me feel as if I was trying to steal the vehicle. I think noticed there wasn't 2 dollys like I paid for. And I told them that, he then asked for a receipt. I showed in my online order, he said that was sufficient. He gave me a hard time the WHOLE time. And I felt like it was discrimination. Not only that, I finally got the truck and I get in a pull off. I noticed that him and a coworkers were sitting down watching me the whole time. As I was fixing up the truck getting ready to go and as I was pulling off. I do not want to pick up my UHAUL from a janky locations like that. I hate being discriminated against because my money is green like everyone else. And if I paid, don't treat me like a criminal or a thief. I'd rate that location on Reidsville at a 2.
This rating is for U-Haul overall. They pre-charged me for 2 days and an estimated millage. I used the U-Haul only for a few hours and returned it the same day with the fuel where I got it. I actually traveled less miles than they guessed and they said I don't get a refund because that's how they work. They charge if I go over, but I don't get a refund if I don't use the millage and full two days. What a rip off. Looks like I need to look into using a different moving van company. Not very client service friendly. This is kind of a SCAM. Not happy!
