When I took the van the meter read 9434 kilometers. When I was back it was 9445 kilometers. But in my bill I had my trip was from 9431 miles to 9445 miles. So they deceived me twice. First, my kilometers they turned into miles. Second, they counted three miles more than it really was.

-First location was CLOSED until 11, pick up was 9 am, so I was sent to another this location. I was NOT happy with that but I was understanding and drove to this location. I understand people make mistakes. Worker did not explain anything, just gave me the keys and took my payment. Truck was frozen and I had to warm it up, Then once again I was sent to ANOTHER UHAUL location to get the TOW. I rushed to all 3 locations.

The dealer DID not speak very good English and should of taken the time to make sure that I understood my bill charges would be in miles not kilometers..spent almost a hour at drop off center disputing charges. Plus he never did a walk around with me to see if the truck had pryer damage I personally DID that myself so I would not have a problem. Your policy and people I dealt with SAID I would not be charge anything until truck came back.Two hours after I left the property charges were already made on my credit card. WITH some of the hassle the move went ok. Thanks

Person working at the store barely spoke english, and did not know how to complete the trailer pickup. He transferred me to someone on the phone, who spoke only a little english, and likewise, could barely complete the pickup. The process took nearly 30 minutes. After getting the paperwork, the store attendant did not come outside to look at the trailer, did not hook the trailer up, or check to see if the lights worked. Worst customer service you can imagine.

Please note that the self serve process did not work, as it wouldn't let me take more than 1 picture of damage not noted and then got stuck on my photo ID. The dealer tried to print a manual contract and even he had to reboot his system for the order. All worked out and he was very helpful to get us on our way.

The bed wasn't horrible, but it was dirty. It was cleaner when I turned it back in though. Happy to find blankets and a wheeler in the box. When I called to ask about the blankets, I was told there were none. They worked out well. Truck # DC 2709K, "ABS" dash light on all the time and brakes made a horrible sound when applied, I think the pads may be worn to the rivets. Should be looked at. I didn't know who to tell about the brakes. Ramp a little hard to remove from chute, but other wise was a perfect van for job. Way better than I was expecting. There was a depot closer to where I was using the truck that would have been handier, but as the total travel distance was 5.2 miles, I don't think it matters much. Greg

Operator was not knowledgeable about trailer and hooked it up wrong, resulting in having to go to regent ave location. We are lucky there was no accident.

Put in $25 too much gas when topping it up. Would not reimburse me. I am out money. Will have to reconsider ever using uhaul again. Very angry.

40 minutes to process my pick up. Had me identified for 10 ft truck instead of 15. Served every customer that came in store while processing me - unacceptable!!!

Garret from main office is a super star. Helped me get things going would not let me leave on our trip until some maintenance was completed which he did at my home address. Pay him more.

Poor customer service when i was picking up, he was serving his convenience store customers and made me wait. Also he tried to let me go without giving me the dolly i reserved. When i returned the vehicle he tried to charge me for fuel cause he didnt know how to read the fuel gauge properly. I put in more fuel then when i picked it up.

When I rent a truck, i should get it full of gas and return it full of gas. They issued the truck with just over 1/8th of a tank. I asked if they would fill it up seeings how the location was a gas station and when I came back I would fill it up to pay for the gas I used They said they would not fill it up. That U-hauls policy was you return the truck with how much gas you started with. based on my KM, I will use estimate it recommended how much gas I should put in now. I asked them to please fill it up, then everyone after me will return the truck full. or at the very least put it at 3/4 a tank if they are worried about people using the 10 l or so that does not register on the gas gage when topped up. In the end, i am giving them a bad rating because the didn't issue a truck ready for the day's work. And refused to fill the truck. Also, the truck had damage, they marked the truck with stickers showing the damage. Some stickers had fallen off, and he said it was ok, this truck lives at this location, and they know where the damage is. That actually made me feel better. All I heard was, he doesn't care if I get a little scratch or two on this gas less beast.

Store owner that knows how to work the computer was not present at 5:00 when I was scheduled to pick up my truck. I had to wait around the store until 6:30 for him to show up and sort it out. Language barrier was difficult.

The owner (lady) wasn't able to speak English well when we arrived to pick it up, so she called the UHaul phone number and the customer service representative was able to guide us through. Good experience.
