The employee was not trained to. Endless rentals properly. First she gave me truck with a dead battery, then the truck was. It what I ordered. I reserved a 15 foot trailer and she gave me a 20 foot trailer saying that was the only one available, I had people hired and had to take it even though I knew it was going to be very difficult to get. Who doy house with a truck do large. She didn’t care about my concerns, so I had to accept the large truck. I ended up getting stuck in my back yard due to this and it cost me $100.00 to get it pulled out. When I returned the truck and told her what happened, she wasn’t willing to help me get half my money back as customer service at uhaul told me I could get because in my opinion she had rented my truck out to someone else just like she tried to give me a truck with a dead battery. Total incompetence at this location and unless uhaul reimburses half of the tow charge over what happened because I didn’t get what I reserved, I will never use uhaul again. My number is8594946400 if you want to talk about this further, but your company is being represented by incompetent person on Winchester.

They were apparently slammed with lottery customers and really not interested in being helpful with the problem we were having dropping the trailer off as scheduled. Trying to charge more was unacceptable and it took us over an hour to rectify the issues with regional personnel that were very kind an helpful by the way. I was just a bit irritated with the staff at the drop off and would recommend a different location. I know the Winchester people well and they don't act like these people.

I just have to thank the owner again. The site did not tell me they didn't rent on Sunday. The owner happened to be there and even though he usually does not work on Sunday for religious reasons, he graciously let me have the truck. So Thank You Sir. Always check with the place you are renting from.

The experience was great, they had the truck ready and waiting earlier than pickup time. Went early to make sure I had time to fill out paper work but it was quick and faster than I expected.

I got a call from someone at the location who took my info so I could just pick it up and she could leave. When I picked the truck up the dolly was not in it. I had to stop what I was doing and go back to the gas station to get one. When we returned, apparently the tank had not been full when I picked up the truck, and I paid twice what I should have considering I put very few miles on the truck. No one offered any adjustment.

Very unhelpful actually. The clerk would not even help me until she waited on every person behind me who was buying food or lotto tickets at the store. My being in line ahead of them meant nothing. We had to carry in 60 pads ourselves & place them in their storeroom. I had carry in 3 dollies from the truck by myself & store them in the store. I had to take a picture of the odometer & fuel gauge myself. Basically got no help from them at all. Not a good experience.

The p/u location was not adequately equipped to handle the paperwork process. The d/o location was not adequately equipped to handle the paperwork for the return and if any additional money was owed and caused an inconvenience when I had to stop what I was doing and go pay $8.48 because this could not be done at the return. I only use uhaul for my moving needs and even though this move was flawed I would still recommend uhaul and will still only use uhaul for my moving needs.

I had a horrible experience. I pre checked in on your website because it said doing so would prevent wait time. I arrived 10 minutes early. The clerk said she was having system issues. She had another person who was a walk in and could not figure out how to assist her. She was back and forth checking out people in the convenience store, and the phone with a uhaul rep. I ended up having to call uhaul customer service and being transferred to another department that finally checked me out online. It took an hour and 6 minutes and costI me 45.00 in labor for the guys that I hired to help me move. The uhaul phone lady started asking me what items I wanted. I told her it's on my confirmed reservation and asked if she had it pulled up? She said yes but that doesn't mean the location has what I ordered. I told her I received a confirmation email that included the items and location for pickup. Why would you confirm the items were reserved for me, while having no clue if they had them or not? Her reply was, Mr. KENNEDY, DO YOU WANT THE TRUCK OR NOT? I said if you don't get me the truck, you can expect a bill from me for an additional months rent because your company will be directly responsible for my inability to get moved today. She said All I NEED FROM YOU IS A SIMPLE YES OR NO. I told her YES, Why in the world did she think I made a confirmed reservation? She then said there are no moving pads at that location but I will get the appliance dolly I ordered. She did say they were removing 50.00 off my bill but no apology given. I got the truck keys and the girl at the counter said there is your dolly, pointing to a standard dolly. I told her, that is not an appliance dolly. She said, well that's the only one we have. Now my refrigerator is scratched, a dresser and two of my antiques are also scratched because we didn't have moving pads to protect them. I didn't have enough personal blankets. One of my down comforters got ripped and had to be trashed. I just got my bill via email and it showes no discount and charged me for an appliance dolly. The level of incompetence I experienced with your company is beyond comprehensive. The lasting damage to my items can not be repaired. The rudeness of your phone personal and untrained and understaffed rental location is not an acceptable business practice. Where is my compensation?

The reserved truck was not available and as such I will now need to incur further expenses due to having to rent another truck . Also had an unnecessary fuel charge made when I returned the vehicle at the same fuel level as picked up .
