When I got there, all of the trucks were in excellent condition (not just mine). The representative had excellent customer service skills. He made everything very easy to understand. I had a lot of questions, and I wasn't rushed. That made the process very smooth. I've been to other U-Haul locations and had totally different experiences (nowhere near as good). As an army veteran - etiquette & service mean a lot to me. I'd definitely come back.

I am extremely disappointed that I was charged $12.75 for gas. The money is nominal and I am writing this more for principle and hope to avoid this happening to others. I traveled a total of 7 1/2 miles and put a gallon of gas into the tank before returning. That math says the truck only gets 2 1/2 miles per gallon. They did not call to discuss prior to charging for the gas. I hope this isn’t their business practice and just assume folks overlook their invoice. I expect to be refunded in full for the $12.75.

The Ford van was new, clean, well appointed with a floor pad, and I also used furniture blankets, which worked well. Al is a courteous professional, who explained everything up-front in a very clear manner. I would rent U-Haul vehicles here again, and also tell my friends to go Owls when they need a U-Haul truck/van.
