I had reserved a 15 ft truck because I needed a ramp. I went to pick it up on the weekend, And there was only a 10 ft truck there with no ramp. :(

This was an absolutely miserable experience. Not the fault of any of the individuals involved, but the poor organization and policy of U-hual itself. U-hual needs to tell anyone who reserves a vehicle at this location 2 very basic things: #1: The hours of the business when a real person will be available. #2: If you make a reservation outside of these hours,you must download the app before-hand and make sure it will allow you to complete the sign-up and enter payment information. Otherwise, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PICKUP THE VEHICLE. We showed up at our scheduled time & there was no one at the location. We then spent approx 2 hours with different people over-the-phone to do an "after hours pickup" at 11am on a weekday. I downloaded an app that essentially was never debugged for iphone's ios 11.2.5, and did not work. I was able to use it to sign up for an account, but it would not take a photo of my credit card, and would not allow me to bypass the photo and manually enter the card. U-hual is not setup to give someone your credit-card info by phone, so we were stuck in a situation where we were sitting in the vehicle with the keys in the ignition of the car we had reserved, 2 hours after having arrived and jumping through all of the digital hoops and I was told that if I drove off with the vehicle they would have to report me as having stolen the truck! Eventually, I was put through an entirely unnecessary process that required I give personal contact information for my elderly mother in order to allow them to take MY CREDIT CARD. Because I had scheduled other deliveries and people's time around the use of this truck, not-picking-it-up was a non-option, otherwise I would never have agreed to such a ridiculous request. I have worked in the medical-industry for nearly 20 years, have a credit rating of over 800, own multiple rental properties and have never come across such a poor business model. Renting this truck was a mistake that I will NOT make again. I will NEVER again be doing business with U-hual and will discourage everyone I know from doing the same. Again, a colossal waste of my time that could have been avoided if U-hual could simply accept credit-card payments by phone, or if I had been notified of the app situation before-hand and it had been correctly debugged and functional.

Very upset at crerdit card charging issues. Between estimate and actual billing and my banks procedures at the refund/adjustment to final billing. Unless thi can be rectified, I will never again allow the charge to go to my credit card! Thanks.

I confirmed 3 days before my truck rental the pickup location and time. One day before the rental I received a confirmation email. When I arrived at the designated time the person there said that the woman who does the rentals had left for the weekend. This is a rural location so it wasn't like I could just hop over to the next close pickup location as there is none. I was on a very tight schedule to move out of my home. Unbelievable that this could happen with all the confirmations in place. I called the main number and fortunately the rep there was able to talk the guy through doing the rental for me. Why he wasn't willing to call and do that himself I don't know; he was willing to just turn me away despite my confirmation and the need I had to move on a timeline. I will not be recommending Uhaul.

It's not clear to me why the invoice shows $89 for additional days. I only rented it for one day, which is $20. I don't think this has anything to do with the pickup location. Seems like more a problem with the corporate invoicing. Not sure.

Willits location hard to find if not familiar with area...very remote, but I live here, others can rely on gps,technology, etc.

I'm not really good with names but it was a husband and wife couple she was very empathetic and seemed genuine but the little thing she said she was going to do she did not do. Overall I liked her but follow through his key thing and that was not there.

there was a mistake made I thought I had a one way rental and when I tried to return the equipment I was told that it was a local rental and was charged $200 more. I called customer service to clear it up and was told that I had rented a local trailer and had to return it to where I had gotten it, nobody ever called the place I rented from so I had to call them myself and they admitted it was their mistake my comment would be don't assume that everyone is a not telling the truth and check out what was said then live up to your contract

Hard to find location, but the after hours area was easy to drop off the trailer. Very uneasy about a drop off location that totally unlocked, but it did feel safe. I called into to Uhaul just to confirm the after hours drop off.

I suggest that the U-Haul company provides this location with extra equipment such a dolly for customers to be able to rent along with their U-Haul truck or trailer rental this location could also use some accessories such as TV boxes mattress covers and extra moving blankets. The demand for these items is there at this rural location the U-Haul company just needs to provide them with the extra equipment they need.
