The computer system at this location was not working properly which certainly delayed the check in process. The attendant was very polite and did his best to work through the problem.

The webbing straps on the car hauler had been damaged and were not long enough to go over the tires of the vehicle when it was loaded. They should have been replaced! Did not notice this issue until loading the vehicle.

First of all, I requested for the pick up location to be in Newton, KS where I live and booked the rental through a dealership. I was called and told that I would have to pick up the trailer wherever they told me it would be about a day from when I was wanting to rental date. I had to drive approx 40 miles one way to pick up the trailer. Then it took me 3 hours to get the rental picked up. The people we very nice but they could not get the equipment checked out to me. Between them not knowing how to work the program. I had to call my friend that I booked the rental with to have her help them get through the process to input my information for the rental agreement. After they finally got the system to accept my information then the trailer was not found in their system even though it was setting on their lot. They called the Uhaul 800# to get help and their support t because they could not get the triailer to show up to proceed with the rental. UHAUL support told them that they would have to wait until the next morning for them to process the trailer onto their lot because someone did not return it correctly. I again had to call my friend and ask for help. She called her Dist MGR who was able to change the trailer to their lot to be rented out. After I received a call back from my friend she told the workers how to find my reservation and to assign the trailer to me for the next day. They did not have the link for the trailer lights to work so I had to go find a auto shop that carried the attachment to make the lights work then go back to pick up the trailer. The trailer had no jack so I had to get the guys to come out and lift the trailer to put it on the hitch. I was finally getting off their property at about 7pm. Oh what an experience. Then when I returned it the next day again the computer program was so slow and would not accept the rental back into their system for several tries. I spent another hour just trying to get the trailer turned in. Then again I had to have the guys take the trailer off my hitch so I could leave. WoW I would never rent another UHAUL again through anyone but our Newton location.

My pick location was changed less than 24 hours prior to rental. This location didn't have the extra equipment I paid for. It took 2 hours to get through the rental check out. This location also didn't offer to hook up the trailer or even bother checking to see if it was hooked up to my vehicle properly. My rental was set for 9am and I didn't leave until 10:45. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

Their is a $20 penalty if you bring the equipment back "after hours". The hours is not listed. Not disclosed. And the number provided did not answer the phone the several times I called. ....so if I don't know the "hours" how would I know how to define the "after hours"

I had a reservation to pick up a 6x12 trailer at 3733 N Arkansas ave in Wichita Kansas. Upon pickup, the man working the counter did not greet us, give us any information about the trailer, nor did he help us. We went out to hook up the trailer to our truck and it was laying on the ground with no jack available. We had to pick it up to put it on the truck and my dad hurt his back in the process. We went in to ask for assistance and the man said “I don’t know anything about it so I can’t help you.” We also had to ask for the brake light wiring harness because it was not on the trailer. If I didn’t need the trailer to move tomorrow, I would have cancelled the reservation and tried to find a new supplier. I was highly disappointed in this service.

Car tow dolly was inoperable. Drivers side tire was frozen, appeared the unit may have been backed into something, the plastic bumper was against the tire. The lock down was not secure, ? if it would work properly. Notified the store about the unit being damaged. Found another tow dolly at a different location.

We needed a trailer to haul a motorcycle I had just purchased home. The first location we went to didn't have what we needed but quickly found another that did. They made a reservation for me and we headed to the 2nd location. It was a dirty ran down convenience store. The guy that tried to help us rent the trailer barely spoke English. He did not know how to use the u-haul web site and had to make several phone calls. 1 hour later he tries to rent me a truck instead of a trailer even though I had reserved a trailer! He finally got it all figured and had no way to print my receipt, I told him to just forget the receipt because I didn't want to wait longer for him to figure out how to email it. I have rented several uhaul trailers and trucks and every time someone comes out and goes over the equipment, helps you hook up and make sure the lights work, etc. this guy just says thanks and leaves it up to me. I will never go back to this location again, and if you value your time and sanity you shouldn't either!

Very dirty place. Didn’t realize it was a u-haul drop location... U-haul person made me unhook the dolly and roll it back into a parking spot and then back the truck in next to it.. I’m sorry that’s not my job! It took forever. Then he wanted to argue about the twilight on the dolly, I told him that I told the people at the pickup location about it and they said they would annotate it.. They gentleman was very rude!!! Will never use that place again!!

No help from the guy working. He was like get your money, sign this and there's the trailer. No help hooking it up. No checking lights, which tail lights did not work. I had a friend check my hook up and he did it right for me. I rent this every year for several years. DONT SEND ME THERE AGAIN.

Returned my U-Haul on the 2nd of April per my contract and was charged a $40 late fee. The clerk stated I don't write the contracts said it was late and charged the $40.

I had to call UHAUL customer service myself because the person working said his server was down and he couldn’t do anything, he said it would be a couple hours. Didn’t even try to help resolve the issue by calling uhaul, once customer support took care of the rental the worker didn’t even come out and help me hookup the trailer. I was already disappointed I had to drive al the way from Andover with my uhaul truck rental to ge this so his lack of customer service really left a bad taste in my mouth.

After thought u-haul location looking only for the money. Could not print my paperwork, and I had to hook it up myself. I then went to the u-haul location at K96 and Hillside in Wichita to get my hook up checked and they also printed my paperwork.

The guy was alone and couldn't take care of my paperwork and put the trailer on my car in a timely manner because he had to help other customers. He didn't fill out the paperwork out correctly and had me returning the trailer to the same place when I was traveling out of state and you were going to charge me double the amount.

The communication was very bad. I waited 30 minutes because the tennant could not fill it out correctly. He had to call someone for assistance. My bill is currently over charged with items i did not rent. I plan to call uhaul today

I called in the order about 5 days in advance. Whoever took the info put it in wrong. The gentleman at the pickup site was very apologetic and did his best to correct the order. This took about 40 min. The software seemed to work very poorly. The trailer was fine. I will not rent from this facility again. The counter had candy bars for sale right next to condoms, there were porn CDs in the case, I guess for purchase. The only fuel station in Wichita I have seen that doesn't have pay at the pump. You should choose your pickup sits with a bit more care. It will keep me from using you again in the future.

have regular checks over the items being rented. educate the counter clerks better on using the system it was very frustrating to keep giving the clerk my info (my card number and drivers license) the lady that reserved the car carrier for me took down my info. then the guy at the uhaul place asked for all of it again. it took 45 min for me to get my traier. cuz he said it "didnt go thru"
