The truck was not clean and the back was filled with dozens of blankets all spread out inside the truck. The location was not safe to leave my car, the person in the convenience store didn't even know how to check in the rental return and overcharged me for gas.
The truck was in terrible condition as well as the dolly. The truck would barely start. Will not be renting from them in the future.
Truck had 3/8 of a tank of fuel. Truck cabin and box were not clean. Trailer was not hooked to the truck, we had to hook up the trailer. Moving pads were not in truck. Basically the truck was not ready for pickup at the appointed time.
Help the customer get the rental item. Check the trailer for safety. Remove items from the trailer that were used in the last rental.
Very easy transaction when picking up and dropping off. Both people I worked with were great and easy to deal with. Thank you
The employees were not very kind or courteous. Very transactional. I had added the use of a dolly to my reservation and it was not in the truck when I picked it up. I had to go back to the location to pick up a dolly. The return of the truck was just as transactional. I will utilize a different location in the future should I require the need to rent a uhaul.
There is nuththing i can say what to do better. It was a good place to be and very welcoming there. And the truck was very clean. I would recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you ...Lee
Nothing your service was so transparent. I didn't notice anything happened at all. Or maybe you have the wrong email address.
Waited nearly an hour before I could get access to a moving van. The van I ordered was not on the premises and another had to be issued. The gentleman who was handling my reservation was also having to tend to customers who were purchasing items from his convenience store. It was a mess.
The 17" truck had a check engineer light visible,when reported to the employee, he stated he knew, no other trucks were available the same size. The truck was difficult to brake and shifted roughly.
There will not be a next time.
This location as well as the truck was filthy. I included photos on the app when I checked in to pick the truck up. The cab of the truck had a tar like film on the steering wheel and in and around the cup holder area as well as on the seats. We had to lay a towel on the seats to sit on them and later cleaned them as well as the steering wheel. The back of the truck hadn't been swept out prior to me picking it up and had trash as well as frozen mud clumps all over the floor. It took me a total of 2 hours to clean the cab and the back of the truck. When I returned the truck, I told the guy running the place of the bad experience and he told me that I would receive half of my money back which I haven't received. I'm still waiting on that. I will never return to this location.
Original reserved Truck was extremely dirty and check engine light was on. Having only 6 hours to move I didn't want any issues so had to downgrade to a 15' truck instead. Much better shape and clean. At first the gentleman helping was trying to brush it off but after informing i used to work for U-haul and knew this wasnt ok, he accommodated us and we were able to get on our way with no issues.
The facility is a convenience store/gas station/head shop/Uhaul location. The truck we rented was damage-free but old and in poor condition, but it performed just fine. The service of the employees was good, though, and they don't have any control over the age of their trucks. U-Haul's online check-in didn't work (we couldn't click "pick up my truck" or fill out the damage assessment), but the employees helped us check out and back in.

Honestly, save yourself the damage to your items and use real appliance dollies (about 70 bucks), and buy moving blankets , not renting these bad quality ones from uhaul. The furniture dollies are about 15 bucks, which the wheels wont fall apart. Also other companies have lift gates instead of slick dangerous ramps, and use diesel, so you can actually get to the speed limit of 65 and have higher that 4.7 miles per gallon .

I picked up a car trailer. When I got to my destination, I realized there was only 1 ramp. Thanks goodness for Uhaul customer service. They found me another trailer in the city where I was. 5 stars for their help.
the blankets i rented were just thrown into the back of the truck, not folded at all. the truck was dirty and had clothes, belts, and tie strings left behind by a previous customer. I waited for almost 20 minutes to get my truck as there was only one person working behind a cash register and he had to stop helping me in order to help customers pay for gas, drinks, cigarettes, etc. Very unpleasant experience.
Get rid of the lazy people that run the place.
Most of my cost for the mileage of the truck was due to the location of where I was forced to pickup the truck. If I would have had my preferred location or even the next 3 or 4 closest locations, I would have easily cut my bill in half. U haul should move the trucks on their dime to preferred locations requested by the customer rather then forcing the customer to pay for mileage due to where the truck is available. I will not be using U haul again after my experience.
The pick up place was a gas station that doubled as a gambling hall (?) They did not have the blankets and UD I ordered and he told us to go somewhere else to get them - the truck they gave me had a totally cracked up windshield and there was blood matted with human hair on the middle seat. As we had flown in to Wichita and took a cab from the airport to get to this place, we drove the mobile crime scene down the road just to get the hell out of there. We went down to the U-Haul Moving & Storage of McAdams Park location where they made it all right thanks to a lady named Bree who was totally awesome in making sure the fiasco was rectified.
We have rented at Uhaul before but not picked up from this location before. My brother said the facility was very dirty. The truck we picked up engine oil light came on within driving 14 miles and had to stop and put 4 qts of oil in vehicle. We called to report this and they said to add oil and send in receipt. It still wasn't quite full. I also had placed on order for blankets and none were available at time of pick up. This was not a very good experience this go around. They are reimbursing for the oil, but it was a huge inconvenience and didn't want to be responsible for an engine issue! The fluids should have been checked before the vehicle was sent out of the road.
I tried to check in using the app. It was VERY frustrating and took FOREVER to get approval. Finally ended up going inside and finishing with a real person!
