The couple at Smoky Mountain Mercantile were awesome when we rented the 10' U-Haul truck. They went out of their way to make sure our truck was ready! We actually were involved in a wreck about 11 miles from the U-Haul location. A lady pulled out in front of us and thankfully we were not going very fast but it was a hard hit. Thankfully too my husband and I and the lady that pulled out in front of us were all ok. Just shaken up! The lady at the U-Haul dealer offered to come to the scene but we were able to get a ride to our storage building. Since we didn't have our car with us she came and picked us up from there. She also brought cold water and cookies to us! My husband offered her gas money but she declined. We were so stressed and shaken up but she calmed us with her phone calls and everything she did for us. She even called the next day to check on us! Yes we definitely recommend Smoky Mountain Mercantile U-Haul in White Pine, TN if you need to rent a truck or trailer!!!!
