Location was short staffed to run business. Only one person on duty. While she was very pleasant, courteous and professional, she was not trained how to help hook up rental trailers. She apologized that no other employees were staffed at the time to help.

I was called to see if I would accept a 5 x 10 instead of 5 x 8 trailer. I asked if the only difference was 2 extra feet. The answer was yes. Got to the location. Asked if the trailer would hold a queen sized bed, to which the agent replied "I think so". The 5 x 8 models boldly advertise this, but the 5 x 10 did not. We drove three hours to retrieve our things, only to find that the 5 x 10 is a full 7 inches SHORTER, and does not fit a queen sized bed. Your agents should be versed in something as straightforward as "are the inside dimensions the same". Completely impacted our move.

This will be my last time with Uhaul as you repeatedly are unable to grant what was reserved. I reserved a 26 foot truck, it was confirmed with a location on Sat. Got there Mon, no truck. They wanted to give me a 20FT for same price? Less truck same price? We ended up having to take the 20 foot and make two trips vs. one. Very disappointed even though after much discussion I was given a discount.

I would have rated this location excellent however this site nor any site close to me supported the 1 month of free storage listed on the website. This was upsetting as this not only impacted local but also my Georgia residents. I would suggest you open a ticket and have your offshore programmers mark and only list those storage sites after clicking the free storage link. Or better yet simply remove that bait and switch problem.

Reserved a 10’ truck in person. Went the next day to pick it up and was told I reserved a 15’ truck. Showed the young lady my receipt that clearly showed I reserved a 10’ truck. I was told there were no 10’ trucks available. I pointed out to the young lady that there were 4 or 5 10’ trucks in the yard. She said they were the “one way” trucks and she wouldn’t let me have one. I agreed to take the 15’ truck for the price of the 10’ truck but I’m sure the larger truck used more gas on the 300 mile round trip I made. First truck she gave me was defective. The rear door would not close. She didn’t believe me until she tried to close it. Took about an hour total to check out the truck. Truck itself was OK. Plenty of power, passed another truck coming up the Camarillo Grade. Brakes were excellent.

The girl that checked me in never even came out to check condition of truck before I took it. The truck was filthy inside and out!!!! Also when I brought truck back they did my milage wrong and over charged me. I drove 71 miles and they said 98 miles. My fault for not making the desk girl come out and check the milage before I left.

I rented the 26' truck and I had no idea that the rear cargo area had oil on the floor. I hired 5 laborers to pack the truck and when we unloaded, we found that the boxes, furniture and pads were full of a oil/grease and they tracked it all into our new home. I had just paid castle cleaning to clean the home Top to Bottom including floors and clean white carpet and what a major mess. I immediately called Castle Cleaners and they are sending a crew to see what they can do to clean the carpets and remove the oils. When I returned the truck I spoke to a nice young man and he apologized for giving me a truck that was not properly cleaned. Now I am going to file a claim with UHaul and that dealership for repairs.
