I have rented from this site twice before in previous years. It was always a bad experience. Slow, uncaring and disorganized. Yesterday was a completely 180. Fast, organized and made sure i got in and out quickly, even though it was a bit busy first thing in the morning. Very pleasantly surprised with the turnaround.

Did not appreciate having to pay for fuel used by someone else. While the gauge indicated FULL at checkout, in reality it was not. After using the van for a short 30 mile trip, I had to put 5 gallons in to fill it up before returning. Since that van is rated around 18-20 MPG, at most I should have had to put 2 gallons in it. While this isn't a huge cost, it was basically laughed off by the location when I raised the subject. So I wasn't real happy. Would have been better if they offered to compensate me in some way, but no attempt was made. For my next rental, I'll look for other places first.

Manager of the facility could not be nicer and more helpful. He has fantastic customer service skills as I encountered and was able to observe with others in the store. The truck was clean and ran well. The processing of paperwork was seamless and quick.

As soon as we pulled up, there was someone there to check the truck back in. The speedy return was awesome, as we were exhausted from the day. He was fast, efficient and polite. Easiest return we've ever had.

I reserved a truck in Woodland and received a confirmation to pick the truck up in Woodland. Later that evening I received a call from Uhaul saying they apologize but that truck won't be available in Woodland and you'll have to drive to west Sacramento to pick it up. This is fine but, since you charge by the mile, they charged me for the extra 25 miles each way (distance between Woodland and West Sacramento). I have sent a message to customer service about this as well as I don't think I should be charged the extra mileage due to Uhauls mistake. Thanks, Mike

I am very displeased with U haul as this is not the location that my reservation was at but is where I was forced to go if I wanted a truck. It cost me more time and money than I would have had to pay if I got the truck from where I rented it, so while I have nothing bad to say about this location, I will probably look into somewhere else to rent from, where they honor your reservation or at least accomodate you for the inconvenience due to their negligence.

The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star is because no one informed me that there was a 3 hour wait to install a hitch till I showed up for my appointment. It was not something scheduled into my day and it cause some issues for my day. Other than that the experience was great.

The team member who serviced me upon my return were not communicative and the woman laughed when I told her that I was taking the bus home and the stop was 200 feet away. I found her to be slow moving and rude. The antithesis was the gentleman who I worked with when I picked up the van. Said another way, she had an attitude that exuded negativity and superiority that was not earned by her.

You could start by actually not sending a customer 30 miles out of their way 24 hours before they are scheduled to pick up a vehicle. No spoke to supervisors who couldn't have cared less. Very disappointed in your lack of commitment for pick up places. Never again. Ninwil use anyone but uhaul
