Actually gave the promise grace period instead of waiting for someone to help us and have one there to receive the truck, instead of asking us to leave it there and give the keys to a cleaning person. Then get hit with a charge for a extra day

They over charged me, lied about certain fees, ran my credit card 3xs one charge was unauthorized. They would give me the run around and hung up on me. I will never use uhaul again.

The man who worked here was rude and not helpful. He handed us the keys and didnt walk us to the truck. He said his worker had removed pallets from the truck and we were good to go. He blamed us for leaving with the truck when they had not taken out pallets that were left behind. When I called to let him know I had to leave a message. I got a call back from the man at the rental place 2 hours later saying it was our fault for leaving since they tried to wave us down. He then asked if I was going to bring them back. The answer is NO. The pallets are still sitting outside of our old house. Can someone please call the pallet company and let them know to please come get their pallets? Uhaul is great but I would never use this guy again.

BE ON TIME - I arrived at the pick up location at 8:10AM for my 8AM scheduled pick up. I called the U-Haul customer service line and he/she informed me that the manager of the location had just left the premises and would return in 10 minutes. I waited 10 minutes and still no sight of a manager or employee. I called the U-Haul customer service line once more and was informed the manager was "just a few minutes away," -- this was not true. In total I waited 30 - 40 minutes for the MANAGER to arrive. I am a loyal U-Haul customer and have never been so disappointed in the service provided to me that day. I would like to acknowledge the employees working on the U-Haul customer service call line. They were very understanding of the situation and offered to change my pick-up location. (I would have changed my location if the manager had not said he was "10 minutes away" and "just a few minutes away").

We reserved a 20ft truck, never got a call telling us it was or was not confirmed. We showed up to get the truck they told us that they didn't have a 20ft, and they knew the day before they wouldn't have it for pick up. They finally found a location that had a 20 ft truck for us 40 miles away. We showed up to get the truck from the new address they gave us, and it was the wrong address. The guy told us to go to a lumber yard. We showed up there and there was a guy that did not speak English that walked upto us and gave us a phone. The guys were at lunch and asked if we could wait another 20 minutes until they were done. We didn't have a choice. They got back didn't go over the truck with us, didn't give us good service at all. It was a horrible. It took us 4 hrs to get a truck back home so we could move. We will probably not use Ugalde after this experience. I will never recommend Uhaul after the way we were treated. This location was very hard to find and was pretty dirty when we got there...No one knew what they were doing, they were very disorganized and they spoke mostly Spanish (which I do not) so there were communication barriers. Seemed like they have never rented a uhaul before. Didn't have the refrigerator dolly that we requested which severely inconvienced our move. When I originally made my reservation I agreed to drop the uhaul off at a specific site in order to save $30. They had no record of that and made me pick another random location so I didn't get the discount I was promised. Very disappointed with this location.

The gentleman who assisted us was ok/average but the office was a total mess! Dust was everywhere, trucks were parked irregularly, parking was dirt/not concrete, noise was glaring due to wood recycling in the back, paperwork is all over the place.

Location was closed on Monday 8:30am. My rental was till 9:am. No service. No one to confirm the return of the dolly and the furniture blankets. Parking was awkward and small for a 26 foot truck.

I was told the truck had half of tank of fuel which it didn't. I took pictures of the mileage and fuel Gage so that i would have proof how much fuel the truck had. I went back the next day to how the pictures of fuel gage and i was told it will be taken care of which it wasn't i was charged $37 for fuel and still haven't been reimbursed.

I always rent from uhaul and this was the first time i had a bad experience with the truck i spent over 500 dollars and the way the truck drove was scary and loud it stalled the hole time i contact the guy and informed him he said he was going to call his manager and call me back and never did very bad service i will move with another company for now on
