It took over 30 minutes for me to get the truck: first the person ahead of me had his truck he was supposed to be renting stolen, then I had to wait for someone trying to scam the attendant out of money to finish yelling at him. After I finally got the truck, it was parked in deep mud, inside the cab was dirty, and the back of the truck was absolutely filthy. There was dirt, jewelry, dust, batteries, receipts, hair accessories, and a bunch of other junk still in it, clearly not swept out. I got the truck with only THIRTEEN miles until empty. I've never had a UHaul truck with that little gas in it when I got it. Luckily the truck ran fine and the lights, brakes, and turn signals all worked. I've rented a UHaul almost every year for 10 years and this was the worst UHaul experience I've had.

Hector D.This location was average, even though there was difficulty with loading my picture id and me having to step aside every time a regular gas station customer came in. They also did not have the 2 Dolly's, I reserved. Either way, finally got a truck. I reserved and paid for a truck a week in advance. I chose the location closest to me. A because it had decent reviews B because I felt my car would be save there when using the truck and C I didn't want to have to pay the extra mileage. The website stated guaranteed reservation. I called the day before my move confirming everything was a go. Their response was yes everything is good my truck was there at that location. Literally 10 minutes before my pick up, as I'm in the car to go, I got a call from uhaul representative stating my truck was no longer there and transferred my reservation to a new location. Not in the best area and further away. I had no choice but to go. But if course I get there and 1st there's a language barrier. He send me outside to put a code into the lock on truck.. must not know his trucks but I came back in. There was no combo but a key lock. This gentleman could not complete my check in process, again getting pushed aside every time a customer came in. I again called uhaul customer service. Everything was green on their side but again I couldn't get a truck at this location. Regardless everything was green, the store clerk had the keys, and I had put my reservation and credit card info a week prior. I was embarrassed at this gas station. I was literally in tears. The whole moving process is overwhelming as is, but a single mom already struggling and on a time restraint. It was ridiculous. No apologies, except for the woman on the phone. But I was offered no discount or anything due to my trouble or having to go to 2 further locations. Sorry uhaul, but I think you have lost a customer.

louis F.It was hard to hear through the thick plexiglass when trying to communicate about picking up the truck. I had to go and figure out for myself which truck was the right one. It only had 1/4 tank of gas, forcing me to have to add gas to the truck right away which was a pain and I'm sure was calculated so that I would have to get gas right there, enriching the owners of the station further. I was positive that the truck would break down... it felt rickety and shaky as I was driving it. I also was angry when I got to my storage unit and opened up the back of the truck to find that a large piece of junky furniture was left in the truck from the previous person who rented it... it wasn't checked or cleaned between renters. When I returned the truck and told the person about it, he just smiled and said OK... no apology whatsoever. Also, I had checked off online that I wanted to rent a hand truck when I picked up the truck. Then when I got there, NO HAND TRUCK ... they wanted me to go with the truck to another location to pick up the Hand truck... I said to forget it... what a pain. I will never go back here.
