This is for U-Haul as a whole company. Please let the customers know, immediately, during reservation, if a selected vehicle is NOT available at the preferred pickup location, on the selected date. Do NOT wait until the day prior, when customers phoned in to confirm, and give them the news.
The young woman who processed our order was very helpful, efficient and competent and we appreciate that. Thank you!
The tank was not full upon pickup, it was about 7/8 full but the mobile pickup app wouldn't allow me to upload a photo of the gas level. When I dropped it off there was a query from the center about why I was returning the tank about 7/8 full. UHaul either needs to fix their app or the store employees need to check the gas tank level before the truck is driven away to avoid awkward moments like this for customers.
Nothing all are ok
The employee Ed was knowledgable and friendly. I even called him on Sunday, his day off, to confirm i had checked the van back in correctly and he helped me and was courteous. I'll definitley use the services again from that location.
Professional and polite customer service. The van was clean and they did a good job of explaining where the accessories were located i.e. windshield wipers, lights, gas gauge, etc. Drop off was easy and they sent an adjusted bill the next day. Great rental experience for a fair price.
We were greated promptly in the store. Store associates were friendly. They assisted us by starting the vehicle for it to warm up and placed all equipment in the back. It was quick and efficient. Thank you
Needed a one way truck, had issues prior to getting the 15fr truck I used. Was not able to drop off where I needed the truck to be dropped off was forced to take the truck 3 hours back to where i moved from, as well as pay additional mileage, and gas for another vehicle. Overall very unhappy with this Uhaul experience. I have spent more money moving then I have ever had too using a uhaul.
They were excellent in terms of customer service and checking out the truck was a speedy process. Unfortunately, they don't sell boxes or other supplies and didn't have furniture pads. For this reason, I selected a Uhaul location, not a neighborhood location. I can't fault the location for doing their job, but Uhaul should have never reassigned by rental pickup. I have now had two disappointing experiences with Uhaul over the last two months. What's the point of making a reservation if it is very likely to change at the last minute? I received a call within 24 hours of my pickup to say they didn't have the truck size I reserved. They also said it was available at a different location than I selected. This is unacceptable. Uhaul should have the truck driven to my selected pick up location, not change it at the last minute. It meant stopping at a different location 30 minutes away and waiting in line for another hour or more to pay for boxes, rope, and furniture pads. The other location was horribly understaffed and in total disarray. I also paid for 2 dozen furniture pads but was only given 1 dozen, which we realized as we were folding them up post move. Uhaul loses a lot of its convenience when it adds several hours to the process, which cuts into moving time. I'll be looking elsewhere for my next move.

This comment is not about the location - it is about UHaul - U Haul moved my pickup location 10+ miles from my reservation incomveniancing myself and those helping me.
Only complaint our rental was 6AM July 29 to 6AM July 30 and by 5PM on the 29th they were calling to see when we were dropping truck off I get they had the truck booked for 30th but we shouldn't be rushed to return it since we paid for 24 hr rental
No one was there , so , we use the drop off box service, good service.
Location an shop were fine, truck was in pretty rough shape. Only had 67,000 miles, felt like a truck with 167,000 miles.
There was someone waiting for me outside when I drove up, and he showed where to park and what to do. Then Mr. Montambault himself was communicative and helpful - he allowed me to leave, saying that he'd call me later if there was an issue, when it became clear that this wouldn't be an easy check-out due to the blankets/dolly mix-up on the front end.
The truck could not be driven above 50, the steering was so bad, the truck would pull to the left. Any bump in the road the truck would veer left, very nerve racking. So maybe the vehicles should be checked better this was definitely a safety issue.
I rented a 20' truck and they let me take the truck with a 2 foot crack in the windshield. I rented another truck at Penske the same day and they wouldn't let me take a truck because it had a crack. Penske truck was much nicer.
The personnel was very friendly
This location was outstanding. My experience with U-Haul as a company was dismal. I made a reservation for a trailer at a certain location, and received confirmation. When I called that location to confirm, they had no record of my reservation. After calling 800 GOUHAUL, and waiting on hold for 45 minutes (!!!!) I was told my trailer was at a different location, and nobody knew why. When I picked up my trailer, we discovered that my wiring (installed by a different U-Haul location) had not been done correctly. In the end, we made it work, but sadly, it was a very frustrating experience.
Not call 300 times for an estimated drop off time, expecting equipment prior to the contract times. This location is crappy and dirty and harassed me during my moving process. Absolutely ridiculous. I am completely unhappy with their conduct.
Great customer service, friendly staff. Highly recommended and well definitely use there service again when needed.
