You should have a better sysyem for picking up equipment and have a person present at the site since you claimed to be open. It took me an hour and a half to pick up a truck and no one could seem to help me.

The uhaul truck was clean and ran great. I rented a utility dolly and appliance cushions and when I picked up the uhaul truck neither were in the truck. I was still charged for both items.

Have vehicles cleared of snow and ready for rental customers. On site employee told customers that it was permissible to take vehicles from lot even though there was a foot of snow on roof of box. It is illegal to drive a vehicle with a snow load on the roof. Employee, a young girl, was alone and had no means to remove snow. I spent over an hour of my time, using my own snow clearing equipment, to remove snow and ice from roof of vehicle.

We would recommend that the foot+ of snow be removed from the top of the uhaul. We had to do and we shouldn’t have had to.

Make sure the vehicle will start without difficulty. We were almost stranded as the battery was nearly dead. Upon pick-up, the engine almost failed to turn over. After shutting it off once afterwards and it nearly refused to start, we left it running continually. It was not a pleasant feeling.

When I returned the truck at the scheduled time, 9AM Saturday morning, Nov. 9, 2019 the office door was locked and nobody was there. The hours posted stated that the office should be open, it was not. I left the key and the paperwork in the drop box. On November 11th I received at phone call asking about the truck. I stated that it had been returned on Saturday at the appropriate time for a 24 hour rental. The rental was for one 24 hour period and this is what should be charged to my credit card, any other charges will be contested.

There was broken glass in the parking lot near the trailer. It required me to pull the trailer roughly 30 feet up a hill to avoid the glass. Service counter was fine, but wish they had been more prepared for my arrival.

Got charged $25 for cleaning and that was it any dirt of any sort in the truck the only thing that might’ve been left was a soda can in the cupholder very disappointed thought for sure when I gave them the information That I would be reimbursed but they said they couldn’t find the contract so basically I get screwed but I’m probably not the only one

This final location for my pick up was great. It is unfortunate that between 24hrs prior to my picking up the truck I reserved a week before and actually picking one up I had my reservation canceled by the original location, the promised truck at secondary location was never returned as promised and I ended up driving 20 miles to this final location.

When I picked up the truck there was a pile of moving blankets thrown into a corner Inside the Box. I did not request, need nor use these blankets. I returned them in the exact location and condition that they where when I rented the vehicle. When I was invoiced from All Parts Racing in Ware, MA, they charged me a $25 cleaning fee for not folding the blankets that they left in a pile in the truck. I didn't need or use them. There was no way I was paying for them. I tried to contact All Parts and they never responded. I had to contact Uhaul corporate to have the charge removed. I'll never do business with APR again and will make sure to spread the word on their shoddy business practices and theft.
