The only problem I had was when I was doing self check in when returning the trailer. The website asked for a photo of the condition of the trailer and when it would not access the camera on my phone there was no other way to upload a photo, and therefore I could not complete the check in process.

Steve at the pickup location was awesome. However, my experience with UHaul as a company was downright terrible. I was supposed to pickup a 26 foot, and auto transport at 3pm, however Steve allowed me to pickup the truck an hour early which was great. However, upon trying to get the contract printed, I come to find out my bank card was flagged as an e-alert and I was given a number to call to find out what the issue was. Upon calling UHaul customer service, I came to find out that an ex-employee of mine, had attempted to rent a truck with my company's bank card a few months prior, and he had an unpaid UHaul bill from 3 years prior, and due to my company card being used by him in the past the system would not allow the transaction to continue. Having no options because I needed the truck that day, I paid his late bill and was told the alert had been cleared, only to find out whenever the UHaul clerk and I attempted to complete the transaction that it had not cleared. The clerk and I spent 2 hours on the phone with UHaul, wasting my time, wasting his time, trying to fix this error. We called the number provided several times but no one was helpful and just kept saying the alert had been cleared but the transaction would not be allowed to continue. As I said this happened time and time again for 2 hours, putting me further and further behind in my day. I am a business owner, and couldn't take incoming phone calls, or take new leads that I pay for due to being on the phone with UHauls terrible customer service. This horrible terrible experience not only cost me my time, but also lost me business due to being unable to take important calls. All because UHauls apparent guilty by association policy which forced me to pay an ex-employees bill, just simply because he used my card in the past. That is absolute garbage and I will never use UHaul again due to their horrible polices that wasted so much of my time and money. I will also be telling any and all potential UHaul customers I come across of my experience and will do my best to refer them to a UHaul competitor. I can not say enough negative things about my experience and the only good thing I can say is I'm happy that UHaul experience will be my final one.

Nothing, that Ford F-650 V-10 was incredibly powerful!!!! FULLY loaded 26ft truck towing an Auto-trailer with a 2006 Audi A-6 Quattro going 75mph up & down the mountains from West Bloomfield Michigan all the way to Cape Coral Florida without blinking an eye. Couldn’t have been more perfect!!!!

Upon pick up, I presented a VIP coupon.. the rep Tonya who was nothing less than rude.. was unable to add the coupon and instead of trying to resolve the situation she ran my cc and tried to hand the coupon back to me. I said no I was told to give it when I came in, I took a day off work to do this specifically, I called U-Haul and explained they had the field manager call to walk her thru how to add it.. she said I’ll have to redo it and you’ll see a refund on your card.. I said I have a payment coming out tomorrow and that will cause a NSF.. she rudely said you take that up with U-Haul. I said now bc of your error.. her and the Manager Steve starts getting defensive saying it’s not an error, there was an update how to put it in.. I called U-Haul as a rep started a complaint, I was to get a call from the field rep Mark.. that never happened. I called the woman that originally sent me the vip certificate and an apology letter.. she said she will look into it. The rep at Meineke should’ve never charged my card without resolution. I have had my account in negative because of Tonya at Meineke. That is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced!
