Manager on site was working front desk with flu like symptoms which causes great concern in these unprecedented times of pandemic.
Clean up the parking lot obstacles. The concrete walls are trip hazards and not easy to navigate around. Also it is not marked clearly how to enter parking service area. Looks like the parking area is where a former building was torn down fifty years ago and never resolved.
The rental location in mart is out of order and needs someone over it that doesn't lie to customers . We tried to rent a truck in mart and the man lied and said he would call back in 5 mins and he never called we missed a furniture pick up time and I lost money due to the man that was suppose to call me back to rent the truck never did. Overall it was a bad experience .
Location was great. Only this that was Awful was the customer service from the UHAUL customer service line and the online assistance. It was the worst experience ever. Next time I'll just go to someone face to face
Prior to my final drop off location I tried to drop the truck off at 1 other Uhaul location, only to be informed they are terminating their Uhaul contract, which required me to drive to a secondary location several miles away to drop off the truck. The secondary drop-off location was old, and run down, and was closed, even though it was 2:30 PM in the afternoon. I eventually figured out how to drop off the truck myself at this location.
The only problem was that the van smelled from dogs that had been in it and the seats had dog hair on them still. the customer service was very good though and the van was in good operating condition.
I have used them over 4 times and they have never disappointed me!
Uhaul office was closed when we dropped the trailer off, lot was good easy access

The pickup was easy and convenient. The man who helped me was very kind and helpful. I do have a comment on the app - it would be helpful if I knew beforehand how I would need to get my keys (lockbox, person, etc.). With COVID-19 precautions being necessary now, I wasn't prepared to speak with a person. This being my first time using the 24/7 truck share I thought my keys would be in a lock box. Also, U-HAUL website stated my truck would be ready an hour before my pickup time, yet because I needed to get keys from a person I could not start my pickup before 8. If this could be stated for my location it would also have been very helpful. TLDR: My pickup was good and the employee that helped me was great. However I would appreciate if I had more information about my pickup on the app beforehand.
Wasn't crazy about having to do self check in and out but other than that it was great.

Have the truck size I reserve, or help me when I ask for help dealing with a truck that's double the size I ordered.
Everything was very easy. It's really important to use the app.
Was not the location I had reserved to return the truck. Added extra miles to the trip, Additional charges for mileage!!!!! Check in process on the app took over 20 minutes to complete.. Go back to having live people on locations to handle the transaction!!!! I will not recommend U-Haul for anyrental needs to anyone.....

As long as the incorrect cleaning charge is reversed I will be a happy customer. Other than that there is no room for improvement as this location was nice to me.
We hurried to get the truck at the Franklin Ave. site before 5 pm on Saturday. We actually arrived at 4:30 pm. The door stated that they were open until 6 pm on Saturday but the door was locked and no one was there. I resent the fact that they were close and the sign on the door says â€¦â€¦...closes at 6 pm.
Guy that helped outside was personable and quick. Checked the back, mileage and gas...good to go.
Explain better the drop off situation. I was not told where i was suppose to drop it off. So I looked on the internet and found the closest one to me. Once i started the drop off the internet site said I was suppose to drop it off in another city which was 40 miles away from where we went to drop off. They had put the wrong city in of where the one way was going. After spending nearly 40 minutes on hold the U-Haul customer rep fixed it so i cold drop off where i was.
The guy was very nice he had brown hair and a short beard that helped me with pretty much everything and set up everything. He made things great!
