It was impossible to get the key out of the lock box. And I paid for 2 appliance dollies, and there was only one regular dolly in the truck. Make sure the rental equipment is correct.
This location needs to add photos of the key box and make sure no trucks are blocking others in
This U-Haul was unacceptable! The previous user and company manger left it filthy. The front windshield side windows where completely covered with bug splatter! I have never seen anything like this in my lifetime. The visibility was clearly impacted and if I was not out of state and using a mobile app I would have with out any hesitation refused this U-Haul. The inside was still wet of spilled liquid and smelled horribly. I'm a retired Police Sergeant form Washington D.C. and have high tolerance to things in society but for a private business to allow a U-Haul in this condition to operate with out cleaning first is unacceptable.
Horrible experience. Took a hour or more to get lockbox Code to get key to truck. The location was very unclean abandon looking. Was unsure about getting truck anyway as I pulled into location. Yes tbe truck was there. Took a whole hour or more to get key to truck. My whole day was so off shedule. I had certain Times to be to pick things in this truck. Everything I scheduled to do with truck didn'twork out tbat day beacause of this hour hold up. Then I returned the truck upon are arrangment with contract.. Put key in the lockbox. The place still deserted no one there. Then the manager had the nerve to call me and say he was calling the police because tbe truck was not returned this was a couple days after. My location was on my phone the whole time a had the truck and returned it. I checked the truck on online. So why would he call me what that message about tbe police. I was very upset about that. The truck been returned when it was suppose to. That was just ridiculous. Never would I rent from uhaul again....

Office very dark. Not manned at all hours. Minimal truck selection. Personnel were very nice, quick and knowledgable.
Your 24/7 mobile pickup option is a disaster. I have been a Uhaul customer for over 10 years. I have moved over 15 times, each time with Uhaul. In the past, I have always found them to be a reliable company. I have never had a bad experience with Uhaul prior to today. Today, I have realized the company has changed and no longer cares about its customers. I will never rent from Uhaul again. I elected the mobile pickup option: 1) I requested a 20 foot truck at a Uhaul location in Pittsburgh, PA. I knew since it wasn't during store hours, it would be up to me to operate the app correctly and get my truck. 2) I later received an email stating that my truck wasn't available at that location, and I would have to pick it up at a car wash in Verona, PA. I called the verona pa car wash staff who had no idea how the pick up lock boxes where the truck keys were located worked. I did this prior to the day of pickup. Now, I understand that these hosting sites are not Uhaul employed staff, but you think Uhaul would bother to make the hosting sites vaguely familiar with the pickup and drop off process, since they are affiliated. Nah, Uhaul doesn't care. So I arrived at the site the day of pickup. I went through the mobile app steps to pick up my truck. Both trucks were sitting in the lots unlocked, by the way, and uncleaned. One was covered in cigarette ashes (my truck). Even though the keys were locked in the lock boxes, anyone could easily enter the trucks and hot wire or vandalize them. The app stated my pickup was processing, and I could not reach an agent in the chat box. After 15 minutes of waiting, I called the Uhaul 24/7 line. The agent stated that the pick up app glitched, and some customers waited for 2-3 hours before they could pick up their trucks, while their mobile pickup was processing. She stated that was "just the way it was" and hurriedly transferred me to another agent. By this time, the app started working and gave me the password to my lock box, where my truck key was located. The lock didn't immediately work, and I had to shimmy it open. Finally I accessed my truck. I opened it to find that the dolly pads I had ordered with my order weren't there. Instead, a dolly was there. I was fuming. Obviously, Uhaul didn't care if my furniture was damaged, or if other customers entire moving days were ruined by waiting for their trucks, potentially costing people hundreds to thousands of dollars. That should be Uhaul's new slogan. "We just don't care. Uhaul it, we take your money." I moved without an issue. When I went to return my truck at my assigned location, another non Uhaul hosting site ( a gas station), there was luckily someone there to actually help me. She had no record from Uhaul that I was supposed to be there. However, she said the mobile app was screwing up constantly, and apologized. She was sweet and refunded me for the dolley pads and helped me in some other manners that I will not tell Uhaul to m
I used you app to reserve a truck at a location that uhaul indicated was open. I drove 30 minutes to that location only to find no one there. Waited on customer care to try to correct the situation only to be told that the truck wasn't available after all. I was instructed that for the inconvenience they would get me a truck at another location at no charge. When I went to that location, they knew nothing about the truck and I ended up being charge 60% more at the new location. We paid to have sitters watching the children during the move with was prolonged by two hours due to the error on uhaul a part as well. I was charged 75.58 and 11.57 in two separate transactions on 11/24 that I would like to have refunded as I was promised by customer care that I wouldn't be charged.
Pickup was scheduled for 9 am. Arrived at 9 am and the establishment was locked... no employees were present and doors were locked. Had to call uhaul corporate who then got hold of the owners/managers. I ended up speaking with uhaul regional dispatcher who eventually assured me employees were on their way. Employee with key to open the establishment showed up at 9:20. I was finally in the truck at 9:30. Moving is stressful - you set up helpers in advance and to be delayed simply because employees could not open the establishment on time is ridiculous. My helpers sat around for 30 minutes and were also delayed. Was told I would receive discount of 20% for the â€œinconvenienceâ€ when I returned the truck at the drop off location. That discount never happened.

I was a little frustrated that my vehicle was not available at the place i reserved a week in avandance and my reservation was canceled. The telephone number to the other pick up was not in service. The gentleman said he told the company the number needed to be updated. However other than that, everything was perfect. Thank you. I will still use uhaul services.
I love the â€œwelcome to the neighborhoodâ€ friendliness and excellent service. Renting this u-haul from this location was the smoothest part of an emergency move.
The best part about this location is that it was less than a mile from our new home, so that was AWESOME! But ... they closed to early and they were super slow on logging in our truck! We turned it in overnight and almost 24 hours later we get a call from UHaul asking have we turned in the truck! Their Professionalism is at best C+

Make entry area more inviting comfortable, organized for customers. It wasn't clear enough for me that I was at a UHaul vendor.
It was annoying to pick up the rental truck at an alternative location.
The attendant who saw to us was very helpful. Both check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. We had no problems with the equipment.

I reserved online an appliance dolly..imagine my frustration when we got there to pick up the truck and THEY DON'T HAVE ANY EXTRA SUPPLIES LIKE DOLLIES ETC!!! So we had to drive somewhere else to get a dolly go back to get the truck so basically were delayed an hour ...yes an hour...not good business practice.. the guy at our location was super nice but this was not a good expierence..so I would say i would not recommend uhaul and most like won't rent from you again..may pay more for penske but at least I won't be inconvenienced by proving my own moving supplies
I dropped my truck off here at the exact time I was supposed to and was charged an extra day. They put the drop off time as 2 hours later and charged my credit card an extra day. Poor business. If you are going to use the mobile drop off when they are closed you better document the time you dropped it off - take a picture or something so they don't try and overcharge like they did to me . Now I have to fight to have the charges removed.
Clean vehicle, nice people. Would recommend to anyone
