The truck was a new and in great condition. When I got in to drive away, the windshield was so dirty I couldn't drive safely. I mentioned it to the guy in the office and he said they would get to it. I went up to him again after 10-15 minutes and he showed me where the Windex & squeegee was and I had to do it myself. You have a ghetto location.

I was missinformed about the return policy. I was told that I could return the truck at any Uhaul location because they were closed for the weekend (picked up the truck at around 8 on Saturday and they close at noon Saturday and closed on Sundays). When I tried to return the truck at a different location I was told that it was going to cost me $350.00. When I called the contact phone number where I picked up the truck to ask for assistance I was informed again that I should be able to return the truck at any Uhaul location. When I asked him to explain to the dispatcher where I was trying to return that it was Ok for me to return the truck there he was set straight about the local move policy. The end result was that I ended up havin to keep the truck until Monday morning. This was a big inconvinience for me as I had to find someone to return the truck for me because of my work schedule. This by far has been the work experience I have had renting equipment from Uhaul. Dispatchers at this location should be better informaed about Uhaul's policies so that they can better advice customers about pickup and return policies.

When I first dropped off the truck. I actually dropped it off a day early and at 9: 40 in the morning instead of 11:30 am the next day. I got out of the truck make sure I locked it. after that a very tall gentleman came and told me are you dropping off the truck and I said yes. at first I thought it was a client waiting for the truck. it didn't cross my mind that he was the one going to process my training the truck process. He then introduced himself as John and we walk back to the truck went over thr truck. And he ask me about crack in the windshield, I then proceeded to tell him that the other agent in the other location told me that because there was an X on it it was already noted. after that we went back into the office he was trying to train somebody at the same time as helping me out. it seems that he didn't know what was going on or what he needed to do afterwards I don't know how long usually it takes for a person to drop off a truck in the whole process it took me at least about 20 minutes in total maybe he was just barely starting of his business but he needs to be trained as well as instead of him trained as a person at the same time.when I did ask for a receipt stating that I dropped it off thinking that I was not being responsible anymore with the truck he wrote down on my copy of what the other location gave me stating I true truck on the street I'm a strange day and John received it with his dealer number.
