This was a fantastic location to rent from. The people were SO helpful. I would definitely rent from here again. This is a comment for UHaul: There wasn’t a hook inside to hang the appliance dolly. That would have been helpful. The dolly rattled around otherwise.

Rented 3 weeks before for Thompson pickup. Checked in person there one week before. Not told one way out of other location much further away. Showed up at 7am and no one available. Delayed our load and 8 hour drive big time. Not happy.



Please ask me again to take the survey after receiving my final bill. They forgot to put the refrigerator dolly in the truck - (My fault as well) but it is in the original contract and we brought the truck back with 1/2 a tank more the what we picked it up with and they said they would credit us. So we will see if they deduct the dolly and credit us a half tank of gas. ??????. Other that that we love U Haul ??????

The gas gauge was on 1/4 tank she claimed it was 1/8 and charged me for it. would not make adjustment or even suggest a resolve. Felt like I had a gun to my head. in addition LV facility sent me to a destination that was on the opposite side of Ventura from me when their are two very close to me, not cool.

This was not the location I reserved. It's six miles away. I don't have a car and have no ability to get there. You waited until the day before my move to let me know this. When I called customer service, I had to wait 15 minutes just to talk to someone, who then put me on hold again, and then disconnected me. Now I'm waiting another 15+ minutes to try to resolve this situation. I have to move tomorrow and you have put me in an impossible situation. I thought U-Haul would be an inexpensive and easy way to move. But really, you're just cheap. I will gladly pay $1000 to use my professional mover just to avoid using you ever again.

I had the worst customer service experience with Uhaul during this rental. I made a reservation with the assumption that a reservation is confirmed. However, 48 hours before my pick up date, I was "asked" by the associate if I didn't mind going to another location less than 5 miles away. She informed me my reserved truck was given as "priority" to a one way trip who reserved it the night before. An hour later, I was informed via email instead of directly by the associate that my pick up location was changed to another city located 12 miles away. A huge inconvenience for me. I had planned my reservation at the first location because it was right next door to my storage facility and less than 5 miles away from home. The fuel and mileage would be very minimal. After several calls later, I spoke with the market manager, Fred, who was very inconsiderate and had poor management skills. He said "actuality, a reservation is not confirmed because you have not paid for it and we gave you more than 24 hours notification." Then he proceeded to tell me the $50 refund that Uhaul sent to me via email was a mistake and I shouldn't have received that but he'll honor it. I gave up. I had one option and with short notice, I proceeded with my reservation at the second location. Instead of using very minimal fuel and at most 15 miles round trip, this change resulted in 36 miles round trip with the cost of fuel. I was expecting to pay less than $50 for the full rental including the extra cost. My final cost with the changed reservation was $96.35 As my job position in sales, I understand the profit Uhaul made by providing the truck last minute to the one way trip requestor. If it is an inconvenience for the customer because of business error, the customer should not be at fault and reliable for extra charges and/or changes. With the idea that corporations and/or businesses in general strive for customer service satisfaction, what should have been the result was either an associate drive the rental to the first location or provided credit for the difference in fuel/mileage costs. I have used Uhaul in the past for moving. I'll be sure to chose a better rental company for the future.
