Resolution of billing errors needs improvement. The truck mileage was at variance with the paperwork provided from the office. As instructed, I advised the worker at the time. He made the correction on my copy and sent me on my way saying he would go into the office and correct the issue. My billing reflects the wrong information. I called to report the problem and spoke to a customer service rep who advised someone would be in contact in 3-5 days. It has be about a week now--no contact.

Good service, but...the mobile checkout was a pain in the rear end. I was on the phone for a half hour early Sunday morning standing in 34 degree weather waiting for customer service to verify my info.

The guys and gals down if that U-Haul were magnificent. Excellent customer service and very attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend them. As a matter fact, I am getting another truck into weeks and will definitely go back to that particular U-Haul facility.

Please try to use the preferred pick-up location. If not available, highlite the new pick-up location so that the customer is not surprised in any way. Same for the drop-off location. Both were different than selected during the reservation process, having drive almost an additional 50 miles including a $5 bridge toll. Your customer service folks worked it out to my satisfaction, but it potentially could have been a larger impact to my move.

The service desk was not able to print us out a contract during the rental pickup. The computer system was off line. The sales associate hand wrote us a contract on a piece of paper. Employees were using iPhones and iPad's to try and check people in. There was only 1/4 tank of gas in the truck when we got it. We then later received an email of the contract saying it was 3/4 full, which is incorrect. We also put $35 worth of gas in the truck before we returned it, which then had more than 1/4 of a tank of gas. This was more gas than when we received the truck. However, on the final contract we were charged more than $75 in gas charges. When trying to call the store we keep getting transferred and no answers. They should have checked the records from the previous rental. At this point we may just have to dispute the charges with the bank. I would not recommend U-Haul to anyone in the future.

Compared to the Bayshore location in San Francisco, THIS location redeemed my faith in U-haul. While there was a long line, the staff members were attentive and exemplified GREAT customer service. Fast and efficient.

The vehicle smelled like vomit and cigarette smoke. I think you guys need to do a better job of deodorizing and cleaning so the new renter gets a vehicle in the best possible condition.
