This was an excellent Uhaul location. It was clean and there was plenty of equipment and materials on site. The truck was clean, running, and ready for my appointment. The store associate took time to show me how to operate the truck and service the oil. Excellent experience overall!

Luckily I paid for insurance. I suppose that's why the service rep didn't bother to do a walk around the vehicle before I took it off the lot. Anyway, when I returned, another rep inspected the vehicle and noticed some serious gashes all along the box of the truck that "weren't there before". Heh, ya right. I didn't drive near any trees or near anything that could have possibly caused the gashes, and if I did cause the damage, I surely would have felt it. I think it's a scam. I paid for the insurance, so now uhaul can get the truck fixed. Whoever did the damage probably paid for the insurance too. Maybe the truck was "repaired" more than once. That, or the rep that last checked the truck was entirely incompetent.

Mobile drop off was excellent. try it. that that i don't want to see the personnel, it's just moving get's tough and never get the expected time of arrival. But overall experience was superb.

None of the seatbelts in the truck I had retracted. The roof at putty on it, I'm guessing to prevent leaks from damage. The location is filthy and in need of improvements. But I guess it blends in with the rest of ghetto Vallejo.

Poor customer service as soon as I arrived. Waited for more than 5 minutes. No was around. A lady arrived and bluntly asked if she can help me. Did not walk and inspect the vehicle with me. Just told me that the vehical with New Hampshire was the one I was to use. She assisted another associate during my whole transaction. And when returning the vehicle the man that assisted us. Inspected the vehicle with a very condescending attitude toward my husband. Then to me as well. Then I received a call from the same man. He had the same condescending manner, asking me again if I left anything in the vehicle. And alluded that I did leave an item in the truck and that it would belong to a police officer. I denied his allegations and asked he to stop beating around the bush and tell me what I left. He told me he could not tell me what it was. I told him that the item was not mine that your associates did not inspect the vehical properly before my transaction. I have used this location several times in the the last 15 yrs I have lived in Vallejo. Never again will I go to this location even though it is close to my home. And be treated so poorly. I am a law abiding citizen. And do not need to be insinuated that I do not up hold the law. I cleaned out my garage and went to the refuse center. Please do call me about this incident. Thank you

No confirmation of the rental until the day before so I didn't know if I would get a truck or not. The person in the phone was rude when I tried to get confirmation. And I was told that I might get a truck as far as 50 miles from where I reserved the truck so not happy

The line and wait was extremely long. The staff was nice and doing their best, but what was terrible was truck condition. There was roaches alive and dead in the cockpit of the truck. This is why my experience was very bad.

Clean the trucks before you rent them out. The interior was dirty and stinks.

1) The rental was clean inside the cab and rear but the the external body and mirrors were sufficiently filthy that I needed to rinse the outside at my home before I felt I could safely drive; 2) The passenger airbag system was not functional for the duration of the rental; 3) The tire pressure senor was malfunctioning and alerting. 4) Their appears to be a glitch in the U-Haul Mobile application when returning. This advised that my one-day rental rate was $99 / day rather than the $19.99 / day.

We have used this location twice. Both times we picked up the truck after hours. The first time we picked up the truck the fuel was so low we were worried about making it to the gas station. The second time we picked up the truck the front windshield is so dirty inside and out we could not drive the truck at night without cleaning it first. Very unnerving

Online reservation made in one place with a confirmation several days later for a pickup 60 miles away. After years of no problems, this Vallejo location had awful customer service the past 2 years. Screw up after screw up causing us to suffer and unable to meet moving deadlines. Reserving online should be accurate and screw ups should be corrected by your local offices since the customers give your company plenty of time to get a truck to the site requested.
