The asshole who rented me the truck asked if I wanted extra insurance. I said no and he tried to charge me for it anyway. When I got my final statement I called him on it and he took the charge off. I wonder how many people he scammed like that. He's a fucking weasel...

The Ukiah store was very hard to deal with. The computers weren't working well. The staff had to redo the contract twice and applied my card to someone else's contract. Then, when we attempted to return in Chico, the Ukiah store had put the wrong return date on it. Also, the Chico Airport location didn't have record of our return and also charged us $42 for two late days because the contract was wrong. VERY dissatisfied.

Had reserved a 24' truck w/a car dolly. Box of truck was clean with a scented product. Cab was clear of debris on floor but had coke can under seat and a spill on floor mats. Past due for service , front brakes have a sound associated with pad or shoe failure. Headlights work but are out of adjustment. It shifted well and a/c worked well

The trailer had 2 major problems that caused us time lost but thankfully no damage to our belongings. 1st problem was the electrical (lights, both brake & daytime running) quit working. Had to find a place to get them repaired. Then the rear wheel fell off!! In the middle of nowhere of course. Had to wait for the tow truck, then transfer our belongings to a new trailer before we could proceed. I must say that the Roadside Assistance folks were AWESOME! They did everything in their power to make sure we were taken care of. I don't think it was the pick up site that caused these issues...I believe the problems hadn't been properly repaired before we picked up the trailer. There were indications of previous wheel issues noticed by the tow truck driver & replacement trailer store manager.

I have had to drive 45 min every time to go to uhaul to get the things I need because the willits uhaul, although previously reserved, is never stocked by its sister store. The 800 number says the Ukiah store has supplies, I go there and they are out- several times!!! The 800 number says they are a call center because the actual store is too busy. I walk in every time to see workers moping around waiting for customers. Very inconvenient!! Getting the actual uhaul process was ok but again inconvenient because of the inability to provide the truck close to home as it was previously ordered. Uhaul should have to pay for my gas trips and/or give me credit on the 2 uhauls I have reserved for this Friday 7/21. Tracy in Willits is much better to deal with and is amazing at customer service- if only the company would provide her with what she needs for consumers in her immediate area.

I suggest you have some kind of second checklist for the employee who is renting out a U-Haul or trailer to a customer who is also added extra equipment such as a dolly to their rental. Recently when I had rented a U-Haul I had added a dolly to my order the dolly was not put in the back of the truck which put me in a very tough situation your company did accommodate me the best they could but it still was an issue I understand the employee was very busy that day and also training a new employee but some kind of double check that the equipment was indeed put in the back of the truck before we left the store could have avoided this whole situation that I experienced when renting a U-Haul from your company

I made my reservations online then was called and said my pick up and location changed which was over an hour away. So not only did I have to drive to another town I also had to pay for the extra miles. The amount was about double then if I had been able to use my reservation location. Very unhappy
