We were charged for things we didn't ask for like pads and dollies, which we never even had in our possession during the rental period. When I placed the order those things were added by mistake, and when I called to tell them I didn't want them, I was told that they would put a note on the order so I don't get charged because they couldn't change that at that moment without risking me losing the truck I rented so I accepted being refunded. However, I got the invoice and was charged for all extras even though I was told I wouldn't be, and I also wrote a note about that when I returned the truck. I do not appreciate being lied to and being charged for items I didn't want or didn't even have.

The mobile app pick up process was confusing. Clearer instructions would be useful and a link to the website sent via email or text would have been appreciated. Staff were very helpful though.

I return my U-Haul truck got my contract for my return place cuz that was a convenient place for me then you guys call me and change my location it took me 45 miles and $50 in fuel for the two vehicles and you guys didn't give a shit

1. The app took forever to load and work 2. I had to go back and forth bewtten location of key and truck. I slipped on the cement due to my impatience with the app that does not have a function to see all required steps prior. 3. Wrote a complaint 4. Uhaul pending in my account for a week before disappearing charge 5. Uhaul then charged on my account on the 9th without prior notice shifting my account to negative. 6. I was charged for the rental twice which included the time spent trying to get the renta with an insufficient app. 7. Overall was appreciative that I could get the rental, yet dissatisfied in terms of charges that were not accurately notified. 8. Uhaul emailed thanking for a new rental then e-mailed me an apology for the error. 9. I’m impressed that I got an apology e-mail without a single customer service number. 10. Extremely distressed to find there was no storefront. Was not clear when booked that I would need a smartphone and access to email to get the key out of a lock-box. This was compounded by me forgetting my phone at home (100 miles away). Any older or not tech-savvy person would not have been able to complete the ridiculous checklist that you typically have an employee for. If we are doing their job for them, the prices should reflect that and be reduced. Truck was not swept clean, and reeked of previous use (marijuana transport) Truck was parked in hard to find back alley spot, with less than a spare 1" of space to maneuver out of because adjacent U-haul was parked too close.

When returning the vehicle, I repeatedly received an error message when I attempted to input my mileage, "The mileage you entered is less than your beginning mileage" or something to that effect. I was stuck sitting in the truck wondering what to do. I called the Uhaul 800# and they made a note of my mileage and fuel level, but there should be some way to troubleshoot such electronic giches.
