I was fooled once again buy the Uhaul site's truck size classification (I think it happened to me once several years ago): the truck length INCLUDES THE CAB. They really need to make this more apparent. Why the hell would I care about the size of the non-cargo portion of the truck?

Still waiting for the refund of the gas cap we had to buy because someone had stolen it. We handed in the receipt approx $15. Gas caps should have locks on them. I'm just grateful no one stole the gas!

We have some trouble with the receipt, much higher than expected, and we can't manage to get the company by phone nor by email. That's too bad because otherwise we were very satisfied.

Softer seats would be nice. Its a little hard. The trucks now are much more powerful than it was almost 20 yrs ago when I first drove one.

Basically speaking, I parked my car overnight at the location while I rented the truck, and the car was vandalized. The license plate was bent and possibly removed and replaced. Not a good scene to return to. I am happy my car was still in one piece. As far as the rental went, OK. Good truck, good equipment, good people with the rental process, fair deal. Thanks.

Super nice people here. Small but very accommodating. Definitely would use this location again. Our only concern was the drop box. It's tooooo accessible to people. It just seemed way to easy for people to get in to. Thank you!

The location was not a problem however I was not happy with the run around I received.I had a reservation for pick up on Saturday between 1 and 2 o'clock pm. When I arrived at 1:40 to Downtown Shift I was told by a gentleman named Keith they were closed and the only reason he was there was because he had things to do in the shop. He reported he did not have a 26 foot truck. He stated a truck was supposed to come in at 12 noon. He called the customer. He was told she had called her agent to extend the time. Keith tried helping me by calling different agents but he could not find a truck. I called traffic and they were able to find one but it was clear across town. It ended up costing me Double the miles cost because of the lack of communication between uhauls and the agents. When I asked for a discount the lady from uhauls customer service stated uhauls would not. I purposely scheduled a pick up by my home to save money. Uhauls needs to improve communication with agents and reimburse me half the mileage cost..that's the honorable thing to do....thank you!!!

I was charged for an extra day of rental, even though I turned it in the evening before it was due, using the drop box. However, Ms. Vargas took care of it right away.

They only had one 5X8 trailer on site. I assume it was the one reserved for me. The personnel on site did not act like I had one reserved. He said oh we've got one on site you can rent.

The contract was not written up properly. It showed me picking up and taking back to the same location in Tucson after I clearly reserved the vehicle with the drop off in Scottsdale. Also the mileage was not logged in correctly with my contract originating in Tucson. Finally, I was given the vehicle without anyone looking at my drivers license or doing a walk through with me prior to my leaving the Tucson location. Many problems.

They weren't ready for us. The car wasn't clean. The stated gas tank amount was off and so was the stated mileage. Fortunately, we caught both before we drove off, otherwise we might have been paying almost $300 in mileage. No apologies, and in general, sub par customer service. Oh well, life goes on, and we got our move completed.

Clean the truck. I found pizza boxes, smoking paraphernalia, and throw up in the back of the u-haul. I kept getting text for two days after telling me I had an overdue u-haul rental. I called the number given several times but no one answered. Had to call the 1-800 number. Still received the text twice the next day.

Rented a pick-up truck on Saturday, returned on Sunday (dropped off). Received final receipt on Tuesday. Local rental outfit keeps calling me about having not returned the truck... even after being told that the truck has been returned.

The vehicle was very damaged. When we got it onto the freeway, the steering required a lot of over compensation from poor alignment. When the vehicle got close to the speed limit, the entire steering column would rattle. I'm also unsure how fuel efficient a small u-haul is, but filling the tank 3 times in less than 300 miles with A/C off is an indication that something is wrong with the vehicle. I did not feel safe in the vehicle. There were other vehicles available, but when asked about swapping, the supervisor told us ours was the only one he was given permission to cross state lines. This doesn't sound ok to me.

I was charged $10 for a appliance dolly per the original reservation I placed, but never received the dolly when I picked up the trailer. The store nor I realized it. I was pressed for time, so I had a neghbor help me move the washer and dryer without a utility/appliance dolly. I tried to call the tucson store several times to get a credit for $10 placed back on my card and no one ever answers the phone at the midas shop where I picked up the trailer. The drop off location said I needed to deal with the other store in order to get my $10 credit. I am really frustrated at the whole deal. I really dont like renting from UHAUL and it never goes as planned.

C&C did not have a ball and hitch to purchase nor any pads to rent. I had to go to a different location to purchase these items. I tried to pick up a rental trailer from the new location and they did not have the correct size. Thus, I had to return to C&C per my reservation. At this time I was told by Tim that U-Haul was a side-line business and I had to wait until the Midas customers were taken care of first. Next I was told he was locked out of the computer and needed to contact the manager, who was off duty for the day, for the password. After 20+ minutes Tim received a text with the password. The password did not work and Tim still could not access the computer. Next Tim tried to call the area office for assistance and was told there was nothing she could do to help because it was computer system. Once again I was told to wait for Midas customers! Next Tim called U-Haul reservations to access my account. At this time I was told by the woman on the reservation line she did not have my reservation and I needed to provide all the details I submitted online when I made the reservation. Upon completion of this I handed the phone to Tim to make sure he would release the trailer to me and he spoke with the woman. He then hung up and we walked outside to hook-up the trailer and he asked me the number of the unit I was renting! The woman on the phone never provided this information to me nor to Tim. Thus, he was left with calling back to retrieve this number. Overall, it took 2.5+ hours to pick-up a trailer I had made a reservation for online. This, fiasco took up precious time I had set aside for my hired hand to help me load this unit and clear out of my storage unit on time. I was very disappointed and upset. Each time Tim made a phone call to the area supervisor or both times to U-Haul reservations he was put on hold for a very long time.

I don't often say this, but the manager was as fine a leader as I've ever seen. I believe his name was Jason. But what ever his name is, he deserves every kudo U-haul can render. You're lucky to have him on your team.

I was surprised that upon return of the trailer that there was no walk around condition inspection. I asked the associate if I needed to sign something and he said no. I just figured I would need to sign something stating the date and time in which I returned the trailer.
