I scheduled a pickup of the rental truck for 3:00PM ON Friday; the store attendant was 10 minutes late. I also requested and payed for handtrucks and half a dozen furniture pads neither of them were in the truck when I arrived at my moving location. Upon returning the truck I was going to talk to the clerk about getting my money refunded but they decided to close 3 hours early on Saturday. I will not be using his location ever again.

No one was there when I dropped off the truck so I didn't know if I dropped it off in the right spot. The signage is not very good. I had to go back just to make sure everything was ok with the truck and timing.

This is the worst Uhaul experience we have ever had. We use Uhaul all the time. We reserved a truck at our storage unit location, however, the day before received a call that the location had moved. Because of this, we decided to get the truck a day early. We began calling the new location in the morning and no one would answer the phone and the voice mail was full. I was out of town and my wife (and our 5 kids all under the age of 10) were doing the move with movers. My wife finally drove to the uhaul location at 4:50 as it said they were open. Upon arrival, the manager was rude and said: "I turned my computer off and I'm not about to reboot it for you". When she said she had tried to call all day he told her, "I don't carry my phone around with me, if I'm here I'll answer, if I'm outside it will just ring". Because of this we got put a day behind schedule. Paid an extra day on the back end for the Uhaul had to pay extra for the movers. Ontop of all this we rented a furniture dolly, the manager said that they don't have those, he could see it on the reservation but his location NEVER has them and Uhaul keeps sending people over to his location with that on their request. We had to go purchase a dolly because we told the movers not to bring one.

The place needs updating and also the u hauls need different hitches, the screw down is very unsafe and has a high likelihood of coming loose.

Appears to be a 1 man operation, and he is nice, yet the facility is small and difficult to get in and out with limited hours to answer phone and receive drop offs.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tim at the Traveler's Rest location. He went above and beyond to help me considering your call center person, who originally set up my reservation completely screwed it up by not only booking at a location that was over a half hour away from where I live but then when I find out the day before I am to pick the truck up for my cross country move... she not only set up form the wrong location, even if she had set up for the location I wanted which is 5 minutes from my house... there were not even any trucks available. I kind of would like to know how you as a company can set up blind reservations from the call center for locations to which the reps have no idea if there is even an available truck there? The only reason I am happy with U-Haul at all is because of Tim. I had to make the half hour drive to his location because of the screw up in the reservation... and he made sure there was a truck there for me, and before that checked for other closer locations - there were none of course. He also came back and met me after his location was technically closed just to get me the truck I needed. You should be thanking him big time for his customer service!!

Do to the fact that I had a reservation set for 9:00am and the owner did not arrive until 9:20 am, I would not recommend this location. To improve services for future customers, please open the facility in a timely manner.
