The truck was not ready for pick-up. We waited half an hour. The attendant did not answer our questions. Instead, he ignored us without communicating and took other customers ahead of us. The equipment we requested was not there yet we were charged for it. Ridiculous.

It was okay, convenient. But phone check-in wasn't working and the in-person check in was a little confusing. Gas station attendant handled it, but there appeared to be a UHaul rep there. Was not clear. Did not get day-before call. No one walked around the truck with us to check for damages and no one explained how full the gas tank was.

I have used this location a few times now, and I have had problems each time. The location is dirty and the proprietors primarily run their service station, so they will interrupt you to serve other customers m several times while they slowly process the uhaul claim. The contract for my last rental said my truck's gas tank was full when it was really at 1/8 tank. I told the people and they told me not to worry about, hand-revised my copy, but didn't update the uhaul copy. When I dropped of my truck I was initially penalized for dropping it off empty. Fortunately I had taken I picture of the fuel gauge with my pickup mileage to prove the contract false and I didn't have to pay the penalty. Don't rent from this place.

On Friday, June 28, we received a phone message confirming our 12 P.M. Saturday (June 29) reservation, but indicating a pick up location different from the location we originally requested and that was previously confirmed. As we were driving to the location we received a phone call at about 10:30 from a gentleman who I assume was calling from the pick up location. He was very difficult to understand but wanted to know if we were canceling our June 28th reservation. After considerable difficulty we managed to convey that the reservation was for 6/29 at 12 and we were on our way. When we arrived at the pick up location it was again very difficult to communicate with the person there. We were told that we owed $100 additional and this was a deposit that would be refunded when we returned the truck Fortunately, the person we were speaking to reversed himself on this. We were then asked for the original e mail concerning the reservation. The message from the day before , we were told, was not what was needed. We had not been told we had to bring anything, Fortunately, the person with whom we were speaking eventually decided the e mail was unnecessary. The bottom line was that the person we spoke to seemed unclear about what he was doing and this was a problem exacerbated by his pronounced difficulty with English. The contract suggested we should take photos of existing damage and send the photos to a U Haul electronically, but after taking photos we were not able to send them to the location provided , which did not seem to be functioning. After we drove the truck away we received another phone message from the location where we were originally were to pick up the truck asking about our 11:45 reservation. We were unsure initially whether there was some mix up about the reservation and whether the reservation had somehow turned into two reservations at two locations. After looking at the links, however, we were ultimately satisfied that it concerned the rental for which we had just retrieved the truck at a different location.. All's well that ends well, I suppose, but the experience was disconcerting to say the least.

I showed up for my reservation at the reserved time and the u-haul representative was not present. They wanted to push the reservation an hour back when I was on a tight schedule to make a move in window I had reserved. After claiming they would be at the center in 5 mins they called me back 10 mins later and proceeded to process the reservation over the phone. I received no forms or papers and after already having my reservation pushed back an hour (which I was notified at 9pm the night before) ended up setting out 2 hours late and missing my move in window.

I went here to rent a uhaul at 9:00 am on 5/18. When I arrived the guy there told me I couldn't get the truck because he didnt know how to work the computer, the owners weren't coming in til 10 and they do the computer and somebody was coming to pick it up at 10:30 am. I called customer service who put me in touch with the regional manager who resolved the whole situation immediately, thank you. Needless to say I will never use that satellite station again.

The billing was very Wrong upon completion. And the young man working did not have ability or authority to correct it I’m hoping the billing issue of more than $35 is resolved soon

My reservation pick up was changed to this location and evidently my information was not transferred to this location. It took an hour for me to get out of there and on my way. I was told it was taking so long because I didn't do my job by filling out my information on line which I did. I was told "I didn't do my job". This location couldn't print out the contract or email it to me they had to call someone at corporate to take a screenshot of my contract and send to my phone, very unprofessional.

This experience is very difficult to rate. First I must say that the individual in the Marathon office was very nice and considerate. It was very obvious that he was new and had received little to no training on the u-haul business and system. It took forty minutes to get the on line registration completed with the telephone assistance of an additional person . I must also say that the transition from the original reservation for a car dolly to a car trailer was very poor. There was little to no communication regarding the location and availability of the trailer. I will think very hard before putting myself through this again. Jim Shaffer
