To say my experience with U-Haul yesterday was terrible would be an understatement. The lady at your dealer was not well trained, took me around 40 minutes to pick-up my truck after reserving it on-line the day before. Then the truck I was given had a "check engine" light, so I was switched to much larger truck (that was needed for my job) which used more gas and was not maintained well at all. When I got in the 2nd truck I saw it had less than a half tank of gas and I told the lady this, she said bring it back with the same amount, which I did. However, when I received my final bill via email they had charged me $68 for gas?? The only positive experience I had was with the guy I spoke to last night about the over-charge on gas, as he called the dealer and said the "night shift lady" did not know what to do, so she charged the $68, but he was submitting a credit for this amount on my card. In addition Chris (your Reg Manager) once I was able to get him to call me, offered a $50 credit for the headaches in picking up the vehicle, receiving a "bad" truck the first time, then receiving a poorly maintained truck that vibrated terribly at 50-70 mph. While the maintenance falls on U-haul, the customer service and attitude from your dealer was terrible!! I will never use them again.....
Computer was a little slow for the worker but other than that it was very painless.
I had no issues with the pick up and drop off location. They were excellent. My issue is with uhaul themselves. I was charged double for a uhaul I had reserved for 7 hours. The uhaul was only used for 5 and was returned to site. On my receipt it says I was charged $59.95 when my rate was for $29.95 for 7 hours. After taxes my charge was $64.10. That isn't correct at all. I will be disputing the charge with my bank to get the remainder of my money back. We used the uhaul for less time than it was reserved for and returned it before it was needed back. And then had to go back up there to let them know it was already returned because uhaul sent me an email stating they would charge $20 more if they had to check the trailer back in themselves. Disclosing all this information up front would be nice. I've used uhaul several times and never had an issue until now. I'm not impressed with uhaul at this point.

When I made my reservation it was made to pickup in Hinesville, Ga. I was sent to Townsend for pickup which was 36 miles away from what I requested. I reserved a 15â€ uhaul only to arrive to the location and receive a 20â€. Upon arrival the information that I input online had to be re-done which made inputting my information before arrival a waste of time. The amount that I was quoted was lower than what I paid at the location. Although the staff was friendly at pickup, I am highly disappointed in the fact that what I requested was not what I received.
Ms. Lisa was very accommodating. She was not actively on her shift, but still assured me, she would get it checked in. She signed and dated a copy of my receipt. I received an email confirmation a few hours later.
Only Complaint was that the straps on the car hauler were to short, thank god i had chains and a turnbuckle to secure my vehicle
They didn't have blankets and Appliance dolly that we requested. The lady in the store had not been trained on how to review U-Haul reservations and did not know what to do without calling someone. The person that she called never showed up onsite to assist.
Slow service. It took two hours to fill out the questions that they had to ask then the computer didn't work. I was supposed to pickup my equipment in Hinesville (ordered a month in advance) and they told me they didn't have it so I had to drive 40 minutes out of my way. Then they charged me for five days instead of the three I had it for.

I made reservations 2 weeks in advance to the pick up date and still had to drive over 60 miles to finally find a trailer, then the first trailer had inoperable lights. Second trailer blew tire 20 miles down the road. Then when I finally arrived at my location found the trailer coupler was near complete failure. Which would have been catastrophic. Lastly book a storage unit thru the website. But it was a location that was 15 miles from my drop off. I have no understanding why I couldn't drop off at the same location as storage. Tried to contact customer service but could not get thru. Horrible moving experience!
Your system very slow at renting on site..
Truck was dirty and the Attendant didn't know how to rent a unit without calling a U-Haul rep. I reserved 2 dozen moving pads and they had none.

I expressed checked-in so we could save time but nothing was ready and she didn't have much of my info when we got there and the process took a very long time. The lady was nice and doing what she could but she was also running the store so she could only do but so much with customers coming in and out so however to speed up that process for future customers
Rimal, the proprietor, was helpful to work with and showed concern for customer satisfaction. I would rent here again.
The Uhaul representative at this location was more than helpful the online services had contacted me because we were having problems trying to find the drop off location that was extremely helpful as well I love that about your company that's why every time I have moved I have used Uhaul
While the associate was helping me with my reservation a woman came up to the counter and asked him for directions; he then proceeded to discuss with her the best way to get her to where she needed to go, which was not the best decision in my opinion. A quick direction or two is not a problem, but a whole discussion is not appropriate and did not show me that he cared about my business. Other than that, everything was fine.
Honor the $19.95 truck rental, as advertised all over the vehicle I rented.
