On Sept. 23rd, 2017 I rented a 10' truck with pick up after hour at 8pm. The owner Frank (if I remembered correctly) called me at 4pm telling me we could arrange the pick through phone and he will instruct me on what to do. I picked up the truck on 1460 Castlefield Ave location at 8pm (friday) and returned the next day at 8pm on the same location. When I recieved the reciept, it charged me 2 day rental fee and 2 day insurance. Tried to call him thrice and he said he will call me back as he was busy. I never recieve a call after, its been a week now. Contract #29694951 my contact number is on that contract so feel free to call me. I will try my luck to call this place again to fix this. Also, i left my sunglasses there and he said it was not there. I am 100% sure I left my sunglasses there

This is not the first time I've had issues with Uhaul. Now I'm dealing with the fact that I've been overcharged and everyone I speak to at customer service bounces me off to someone else. Surprise charges, hidden fees, filthy vehicles. It's ridiculous and if it isn't resolved today you'll be losing my business.

When calling for a truck I would like to communicate with people from Canada instead of someone from Arizona who has no idea about our areas. I live in Barrie and they wanted me to drop of the truck in Brampton.

Pick up location was fine once I found the correct location. Customer service over phone and at original pick up location (which had been discussed over the phone with customer service) was disgusting. Completely unhelpful, rude and dismissive. Will never use or recommend uhaul again.

I booked a 26' truck 3 months earlier. 2 days before my moving day there was a voice message on my phone saying that the 26' truck is no longer available and instead we will give a cargo van. I called back I talked to 'Dominic' he finally told me to pick up a 26' truck form a different location. He gave me a take it or get lost attitude. Horrible experience. I was very disappointed.

- The location is cramped with vehicles and there is nowhere to park; - The receptionist was rude when I called 2 min after the rental to say that the gas level was indicating 1/8 instead of 1/4, as shown in the rental paper. He said "I'll show you it's 1/4". I had to drive back to the place to show that the tank level was in fact at 1/8. He didn't recognize there had been a mistake or even apologized, and I may have had to end up paying additional for gas that I didn't consume, had I not paid attention.

I had a truck booked with self pickup for 6pm. When I arrived at 5:50pm my truck was no where to be found and there was no one in the office. A note on the door indicated to call a number which directed to another uhaul that didn't know anything about this location. When I called uhaul they were able to get in touch with the employee who said he would be there in 10 minutes and that he didn't setup the self checkout bc he thought he would be there. This was approximately at 6:15. The employee arrived at 7pm and there were 3 people waiting for him. He didn't apologize. He gave me a truck that was bigger than what I requested and the truck was not clean. Not sure how it can get much worse... Really horrible experience.

19.95 plus 55 bucks for 5 hrs and 42km. Gas was low when picked up. Desk guy was great. 42 cents per km plus gas is steep

I've rented a pick-up truck to help me move to a new apartment, buy new furniture, and buy groceries at Costco. I think the price is good and the equipment too! But it was so dirty, every inch of the truck...inside it was all dust, sand, and so on. In order to use the rear bed I needed to cover all with card board because there were oli stain all over it....the overall experience was good, but it could have gone way much better!!!!

My 1-way reservation was changed at the last minute (even though I had booked months ahead). I was able to negotiate a less inconvenient pickup/drop location for a return trip, but it was still very inconvenient and added about 2 hrs to a long day. While your agent did reduce my charges, that wasn't enough. IF you had told me that I couldn't do a 1-way from my initial reserved location, I could have made other plans. The truck cab was really dirty. The oil service soon light was on. In short, I'll look to another rental co. next time.

I picked up the Cargo Van this morning. I was told the gas meter was Full, but it wasn't. I returned it FULL. I also discovered during the start of my move that the Right Brake light was out as well as the Right Turn signal. I did not discover this until nearly getting into an accident. When I returned the van to this location, they were not very sympathetic. This is my first time using UHaul for a move and I'm VERY disappointed !!
