Can’t say I was pleased with pulling away and after 10 minutes have the low fuel light come on but other than that it was straight forward and an easy experience. Needed a pickup truck to move a couch and that’s what I got when I showed up. I’d return to this location again.

Truck was clean inside but not washed on the outside but I didn't care about that anyway , winter weather . Customer service person got me on my way quickly . No problems .

The rental vehicle was clearly not prepared for my use: it still had the previous renter's garbage in it, wiper fluid was empty, and all the windows were so filthy that they literally could not be seen out of.

I didnt ask for 15$ safe.. I was charged for it.. Also I was said for 50$ off card as I was asked to pick up from a location which was closed and hence pick up fro other location but didnt recieved 50$ off.

I was moving on Jan 1st and was provided with the best service I could expect from U-haul. They were very helpful with all the questions I had. They contacted me several times to make sure that the reservation was correct, including texting a day before. The vehicle was clean. I paid exactly what I was told at the time of reservation. Overall, I was worried after reading the previous reviews. However, my experience was only positive.

Even though I have entered less than 50km as my estimated mileage, the store changed it to 100 km therefore I've been charged for 100km while I drove only 41 km. The utility dolly is $7 (CAD) as per website, however I was charged $10, separately by the store, and this item is not mentioned in my contract with U-Haul. For some reason they charge a price different from what you see on U-Haul reservation.

Older gentleman working wasn’t really helpful while unloading vehicle from tow dolly, unhooked early cause me to shift hard while undocking front tires and come off ramps early. Just a jerk move on his part

On one-way trips it would be helpful of blankets and dolly were provided. As well, the passenger's side mirror did not fully stay in place the whole trip, making it slightly more dangerous at times. Otherwise, excellent equipment

For a one-way trip, I indicated I wanted to rent a dolly and packing blankets. However, the management at this location indicated that this was not possible and I could not rent such items one-way. They insisted that I had to travel all the way to the drop-off location to rent such items. Clearly this was not possible for a one-way trip, which led to a much more laborous move (in the biggest snowstorm of the year).

I accidentally left my personal dolly on the truck. I emailed the same night and have followed up with phone calls. The owner is saying he didnt see it. I know they check the truck when I returned it so he is now keeping it for himself and not returning my calls. This is horrible service.

The rental I had booked was one hour late. It would be extremely helpful if UHaul does not double book vehicles and if the staff on the phone COMMUNICATE with front-line staff at the actual rental locations. Many customers entering the UHaul location voiced similar complaints which were received with little to no accommodation from the staff. As well, after having booked online a week before, and being informed that I would receive confirmation the night before, it was 6pm and I had still not received any form of confirmation of my reservation. I then decided to call UHaul to ensure everything was as planned, to confirm my rental and pick-up time and location, etc. On the phone, the employees informed me that my cargo van was not available. They had "upgraded" me to a 10ft truck without my knowledge. They put me through countless customer service/schedule representatives and re-booked my reservation three times. And even on the actual day where I show up on time (12:20 pm for a 12:35 pick-up), my truck was STILL not available due to the previous customer not returning it on time and/or as the front line staff said, my reservation should not have been booked for the time that it was by the telephone staff as they did not have enough vehicles. I have never had an issue with UHaul in the past and have always chosen UHaul for all my moving needs, which have been plenty. But unfortunately, I will no longer be doing business with UHaul as my most recent experience with them was extremely disappointing and frustrating.

Terrible customer services. The van was given to me on empty with the gas light on. I was told to fill it myself at a gas station. No one walked around the van with me or showed me the km reading beforehand. I signed nothing. I was then subsequently over charged on my km usage. I was also told there would be a $20 charge added to keep the van past 4 hours where my confirmation clearly said I had it for 8. After bringing this to their attention they got mad at me and dropped the additional charge. The van itself was gross. There was dried mud and dirt all over the back which got all my furniture dirty. Will never use them again. I hate giving bad reviews but this was a horrendous experience at every step.

The truck I got was a bit dirty and banged up but I suspect it's been used to much that it may be impossible to feel clean. Also, I did book the truck very last minute so my thought was that beggars can't be choosers. I did say yes to the question above as I felt a straight no didn't do justice to the location. The Staff was excellent! They were friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful. It was a great experience in general!

The online, automated tool was cool and I wanted to use it, however, I could not use it because the van that was assigned to me was boxed in amongst other vans. I still needed to go inside and get keys and contract. I was not happy about the time I wasted taking my photo and the photo of my ID only to have to go inside and stand in line.

Utter chaos and disorganization. Reservations are deemed pointless because of the changing pickup locations, and poor communication between stores. Our truck was not at the location they sent us to causing us to drive across the city to find it. Even people coming after us shared the same experience. Really terrible! Very disappointed. Made moving day extremely stressful. The only person who was actually helpful was Donna at head office who was holding things together. Using stores to subcontract makes it impossible to confirm pickup location and therefore not just inconvenient but totally frustrating. 10/10 will not only avoid Uhaul like the plague but will be advising all friends and family to do the same. The online reservation system is great but turns out its pointless come the day you need it!!

The side door didn't close properly and was held "shut" by a elastic bungee hook. I still paid full price for this, which is a bit annoying.
