The policy of the gas was ridiculous. I drive the truck, a total of 7km, I used a little gas, didn’t have time to fill it due to commits and the amount of time it took me to move, they wanted to charge me for 26km usage on gas. I am all about paying the higher gas amount in dollars, but to do that and charge me 26km was absolutely ridiculous. The young man behind the counter was able to reduce that total to 20km, which was still absurd. You want to charge me a higher gas price for the km used ok, but tho charge for km I didn’t use. Not cool

Parking lot not paved, mud everywhere on a rainy day. The van was absolutely filthy: dog hair everywhere, coffee spills all over dashboard, never seen a rental vehicle that dirty.

Providing correct drop off locations- either open locations or locations that allow you to drop off while being closed. This location was closed- unable to drop off. We were unaware till we tried to drop off the vehicle and had a notice on the door.

Not change my location of my rental without letting me know after I had called to change it up - very poor communication and then I was told to ask for some $50 complaint at the office I was going to and the guy had no idea what I was talking about... I would like someone to reach out to me to talk about this.

Arrived to find no place to park my car for the duration of the rental - an earlier email I sent with this question went unanswered. Only 1 person on staff at 8:45am, and about 6 people waiting to pick up their rental. Lot was packed with UHaul vehicles. Customers had to back their cars up onto Coxwell and jockey around each other. I had to park on a side street several blocks away - very inconvenient. Location was under-staffed and over-crowded. The vehicle itself was clean and in good condition. Associate working the counter was friendly and did the best he could with no help.

I was told on the phone with Uhaul corporate that I would be able to receive compensation for the inconveniences during my rental at this location, only to be told that I was lied to, and they would not be able to help me with any compensation. The manager was marginally helpful by giving me some phone numbers to call, but he wanted the keys from my truck more than to help me with my issue.

Only the storefront is located at this address. You actually have to go to 480 Coxwell Avenue to sign for and pick up the vehicle, which is not indicated on the website or booking at all.

The drop off location was great and easy to find, the personnel was very helpful. However although the truck did its job, travelling in the vehicle was very uncomfortable without any AC on the 2.75 hour drive

Actually picked the vehicle up at 480 cox well avenue. 8 am was extremely busy however the two staff members were exceptionally professional and patient! Vehicle was relatively clean from debris but just filthy in the cab. Not because of the two workers but because of the previous renters! Great staff can't say enough!

I was shocked to see that my bill stated I drove 330 miles. When we FINALLY got in touch with a representative (after repeatedly saying they would call back and then not) we discovered that a worker had written down the mileage wrong. We had driven 25 miles. Let that sink in...UHaul nearly charged us 10 times the amount of mileage used. Although we finally got reimbursed for the mistake, the damage has been done. I have trust issues now with UHaul. I am moving shortly and planned on multiple trips with UHaul trucks. I can honestly say I am never using the service again and advising all of my student friends against it. My advice- double check bills and mileage before charging customers huge fees.

There is no drop-off point at 1070 Danforth. The building is vacant and the parking area is fenced off. Movers Choice has moved to a location on Coxwell (#340?). Their parking area is pretty crowded, but their staff is friendly and efficient.

The staff were very good to deal with. They mentioned that we would receive an e mail to confirm info the day before pick up. When I said this would not be convenient I was given a 1 800 # to set this up. Excellent customer service.

Better phone service. Also I originally booked a van from a store on danforth avenue which had no vans at that location but was relocated to a site on Coxwell ave. This was not reflected on your website and consequently I had to make alternate arrangements to pick up at added cost. Also the cost of 59 cents per kilometer is high.

Pick up location was changed one day before the scheduled rental period. The van is for license F truck license. So I used U-Haul van instead. Without any notice about the opening hours of the new station, I waited there for 30 mins. I was almost late for my driving test.

The pickup location actually changed at the last minute to one a little further away. The van was in OK condition when collected - it was rather dirty inside and I worried that I would get billed for the cleanup fee so I spent extra time cleaning up the van before returning. There was also lots of pre-existing damage on the van (right front corner, grille, roof, drivers door) that was not marked as already reported/claimed by the sticker, and again felt that I may have been liable. The drop off process was also super easy though, and the guy didn't even check the van at all, so I guess they have a relaxed attitude.

Calling customer service was an atrocious affair. I cumulatively spent hours on hold to finalize my rental. My average time was 45 min per call and it took 3 calls to actually get the issue fixed.

I rent with you the past weekend from July 20 to 22 .first of all the van was smell very bad when we reported the staff the refused that smell bad and told us no other car can give us said all booked .plus it was less information about ur policy of returning when I returning to other location of yours charge me $300 penalty which is not far plus it is all bad because they have to mansion all the reuternal options any way even tho I rent for 3 days but returned 1 day before still I pay $443.53 with penalties. Any way I will not recomend any of my friends b/c of your penalty is so much better rent from car rental dealer. I'm not happy with your service this time at all .
