I was charged for two days even though I returned the trailer on the day that I rented it and there was staff there to help me. However, they did not input the return into the system and I was charged for 2 days. This is now the 2nd time this has happened to me - the first time was at the Laid location

I found it was very hard to get anyone at this location or at UHaul generally by phone. No one ever answered the phone here and when I phoned the main Uhaul number to adjust my order I was on hold for over 10 minutes before getting help. However the staff here were helpful once I was in the store but it was clear one of them was just learning the position.

Truck was ready as planned. Location is small and their inventory of supplies is very limited, so if you need anything else with the truck, it may not be available. I bought a strap to ensure that furniture didnt move and according to the movers that i hired, the strap should have been sold with another part. We made due however.

The truck cab was disgusting. The requested dolly was not included so you know how hard that made the move. It Saturday morning with all in line having reservations. Surely, that should speed things up. Maybe two or three in staff early on Saturday morning or better prep the night before.

I had rented and arranged for a pick up spot much closer to my moving location. I was sent 3 emails that confirmed this. Day of i called to double check. I was told i would receive a call back. After 30 minutes I called again a few times until i got through an hour later. The reservation had been moved. I called the new location and told them i was on my way. When i arrived an hour later i was told the reservation had been cancelled because they could not get a hold of me while i was on the subway (?!) Fortunately the vehicle was still there and i got the reservation back. I asked if i could have some of the fuel and mileage deferred and was told i would have to call head office to open a request. Not worth my time. I will not use your services again.

I felt like I was being made guilty for not opting into the $15 truck insurance - cold tone in explaining how I can be charged easily for any damages and all the X marks on the truck showing where scratches are made seemed over the top (would a simple small pebble hitting the side on the highway or gravel road qualify as damage?). Luckily I didn't get any of these charges in the end.

I did a self check out and I needed to pick up my truck at 7 so I got there for 6:45 to find out that my truck keys were not in the lock box as was told to me and I got 3 confirming phone calls the day prior to make sure everything was set up to go. I called the emergency number that was given to me and hey didn’t call me back until 7:30 and which they said well you have to wait until 8 when an employee comes in and they will fix it. I mean I understand it was the previous customers fault or it was directed to me that I was from the employee but there should of been a spare key or maybe the employee that set my truck up and did my confirming calls should of checked if my keys were there. Prospectively I was late to my appointment and my charges for it went through the roof. But hey we all make mistakes right, yours just costed me $250

The only reason I would recommend is because of one particular employee who stayed late to help us after hours, when our mobile app didn't work (and no one via phone at U Haul was able to help us get into the lock box to get the key). Cargo van was not very clean.

Our experience with U-Haul this time was great. staff member on shift was great. Got a van short notice, great price and easy adminstration. Only negatives in the past have been:The vans sometimes are a bit smelly. They overcharged us once for some art boxes (that guy was brand new). The office can be very busy at times with only 1 staff.

They were running around looking lost. They didn't have $10 to give my change. So they send an employee out to make change. While he's out, I'm rushed out to circle check vehicle and sign off damage then forced to move truck because now I am blocking a truck. I leave and get to loading the truck and realize they never game me my change. Called and got hung up on twice. Left a message and no response. Thanks u haul. Then drop off was even worse. Woman was rude and claimed truck was not half full. Took pics and she starting screaming at me and my son and said she was gonna send me an invoice. I these dealers really after a few bucks here and there?? You never know and all this adds up. Better customer relations training is needed!!

The mirror on the passenger side of the uhaul was broken. It would not move so it could be repositioned so it was usable. The service was quick and efficent. My only complaint was with the broken mirror.

The person on duty at our 8am pick up time was good but the fact that he was on his own meant that the six people ahead of us made our actual pick up time 45 minutes later. One customer actually left because he couldn't wait any longer.
