The person at the counter was busy talking on their cellphone for the first 5 minutes I stood at the counter. The entire process took about 20 minutes which included him calling my friend to "verify" that I wasn't going to be stealing the van. The length of time required to get a vehicle is unacceptable. The vehicle itself was clean and drove well so no complaints there.

I booked for 989 O’Connor but the confirmation came for location at 2895 Danforth. This was a surprise as two locations were not on my intended route/ path. It was not easy to locate 2895 Danforth as there was no sign board. There was a small sign on the door to mention that even this location is now temporarily shifted to another location across the street. I had to call a number listed on this small signboard to know the final address. This entire saga Cost me time and extra money. I was not expecting this inconvenience. I must say the U-Haul representative,both at time of pick up and return, were very courteous. Perhaps little better management would be more Clint friendly especially when client is little stressed about Moving .

Vehicle was smelling very bad and the right side mirror was broken... uhaul store guy knew that side mirror is broken and he didn't even care about the customer whose gonna drive...and one more thing, I ordered dolly while my online reservation...when I reach there they said, they don't have one and gave me a free advice that to buy one from Canadian tire and was a crazy day for me with all the heavy stuff I have...wasted so much time and energy... actually I wanted to call customer service and explain everything to refund my money but I didn't get time to do i got this review email to explain this...

it was really hard to see a visible sign that there was a uhaul dealership. the process was starting the rental took way too long as the only person there did not seem to know what it was doing. i would prefer a process similar to the after hours where i did it with my mobile device.

Got the rental an hour and twenty minutes late. Booked for 1pm and got a confirmation to pick up at 1pm, but rental wasn't available when I arrived. U-Haul representative asked that I come back around 2pm (I live 30mins away and this was a huge inconvenience. When I finally got the rental at 2:20pm. The employee or U-Haul representative couldn't care less. He was speaking to someone on the phone in another language while I was trying to get my rental which was an hour and twenty minutes late. I told him I already per-registered online through the U-Haul Truck Share 24/7 online service and he told me it didn't matter and that he need to re-enter everything manually at his computer again together (while he was still on the phone speaking to someone in another language). I have pictures of his "office" for this U-Haul location. It was the dirtiest most unprofessional U-Haul I have ever seen (garbage everywhere, on the table, on the floor - happy to send a pic). Surely this doesn't pass U-Haul quality control for partnering locations and the U-Haul representative was awful. The guy was not even listening to me as we went through confirming my information (as he was on another conversation at the same time) and indicated "coverage" when I told him I did not want it (see my online registration where I indicated "no coverage" for this rental). At that point, I didn't care as I just wanted to get out of there with the rental so I can finally get on with my furniture move that I was already behind schedule. When I finally got in the rental, it had a little more than a quarter tank of gas and had a very bad odour in the rental. Overall, horrible experience with this location and individual. U-Haul should really send someone to review this location. Its a disaster. At a minimum, I should not be charged the $15 for coverage I did not want and should be compensated for the late rental start time which was a big waste of time / inconvenience. Regards

The person at the location didn't provide me with moving blankets I ordered when I booked the vehicle on line. The person did not come out with me to look at the vehicle. The person didn't give me the green slip - overall completely inprofessional

The location I used was friendly and courteous, however, clearly new at dealing with UHaul. I completed the express online check-in before arriving to ensure a quick transaction as I was working with limited time. The employee who attempted to complete the order didn't understand the online system. He called in a manager to assist who also didn't understand how to use the system. Eventually, they called a UHaul rep who walked them through the process. From the time I walked in to the time I was handed the keys to the truck was over an hour. I would not recommend this location to another customer.

this is a hole in the wall mattress shop. never answer the phone. trucks are parked in a sketchy alley way behind the mattress store. I would never rent from this location if I had known. also the truck had a hole in the cab letting the cold air in just aweful

Absolutely awful experience. Despite choosing self pick up option I was not able to complete the online procedure and pick the truck up without any explanation why. Turns out I needed to go through the same steps I completed online in person, with a representative who was also unprofessional. It cost me an hour of my time I had scheduled for the move and caused everyone involved a lot of stress and massive delays. While going through the steps of online pick up process i was informed that "a piece of equipment was not assigned to my reservation" and give a 24'h number to contact. I tried calling it multiple times for half an hour, and all I got was a voice mail. An answering machine for an emergency number is just atrocious. Overall the whole experience was very poor, and the customer service I received after 45 minutes on being on hold was mediocre at best. I am deeply dissatisfied with your service.

It took them over 30 mins to process my rental, they called into uhaul and the person helping them was extremely rude and disrespectful, talking down to the person who called. The truck back door was not working properly. I dropped the truck off the same day and they people at the location, called me the next day asking if i returned the truck when it was parked in the back of there store (where I took it from) and the key was in the drop box. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE this time around renting from uhaul.

The self-pickup app was not user-friendly. Instructions were not specific and were unclear. The parking lot was difficult to get into. The parking brake would not release properly.

I had a horrible experience with uhaul and I would think twice before renting again. I scheduled at 9am. When I arrived they were closed. I called uhaul and waited on hold for 45 min only to be told the location didn't open until 11. I asked why my reservation was accepted and the person could not answer. Did they apologize for the inconvenience? Nope. They said they would have to transfer me to the scheduling department. I waited on hold fo another 25min only to be told that I had to call a different scheduling department that looked after Toronto. Waited another 30min only to be told there was nothing that could be done. Amy apology? Nope. I was than told the regional manager would call me in 5min. I questioned the 5min timeline and was told 100% he would. Waited...finally after 15min I received all call and to my surprise finally an apology. However I was told if I couldn't guarantee the truck would be returned that evening he would cancel my reservation right away. Excuse me? You messed up, screwed up my entire day and now your threaten me??? Very disappointing.



1-When we returned the van in the evening, we lost 30 minutes arguing with the neighbor bussiness regarding the parking spot for the Uhaul. Should have a designated spot written for U-Haul parking. 2-The person was doing that for the first time, so we waited more than 20 minutes until she figured out how to do it. So we wasted almost 50 minutes of our time that with a better preparation shouldn;t happen. 3-Parking spot was not easy to navigate-so narrow-at one side of the entrance another truck had blocked.

I had originally requested the van to be picked up and drop off at a location close to home; unfortunately the location was changed and the mileage between my house and the new location increased and so did the charges to my credit card; I didn't realize this would be an issue when they changed the pick up and drop off location.

Very difficult to park and drive the truck out of the parking spot due to the very small parking are at rear of building. Driving out of the location to 20 minutes alone.
