I rented a tow dolly with damage to the fender, i pointed the damage out to the uhaul representative. He said it was not an issue. I also bought a 2inch ball and receiver that was installed incorrect (missing lock washer) i had to keep tightenning it on my trip. Very damgerous. When i returned the trailer the people tried to charge me for the damage.

By far the poorest service, and truck I ever had. Check in process took 1hour and 45min, I paid movers for 2hours and they simply left, I was left to pack my truck until 1am with help from friends. At start, I went to the location for pick-up Impossible to find the truck and the representative on the phone kept giving me the address I was already at. Finally during the online checkin found out the truck was parked 1.2km away on a parking lot. After locating the truck the wrong lock password was given in the check-in process and could not get the keys. Spoke with 4 differents representative, all very arrogant that kept transfering the call. Finally, I was able to speak with Cassandra Tobar that was able to shift things around and get me the key of another truck. Filthy truck I should say. There was coffee spilt all over the drivers side a tupperware and glasses left This truck was never inspected I am sure. The Truck obviously had issues before being returned and it was not flagged and was given to me. Impossible to hit more then 100km/h on the highway steering while starts shaking and steering left. Massive scratches on the side with a damaged light that was not reported. Part of the floor in the truck was saggy and several of up got our foot stuck in there. And of course, I had No furniture pads as requested - All my furniture were scratched. Of course when arriving in Montreal, the average representative I spoke to earlier in the week did not advise that we needed a storage. There was no space available was could fit our furnitures. Had to pay for a storage a premium price accross the street. I am overall just disgusted from you business

I already have called and commented. The pick-up wasn’t great. I ended up waiting in the office for close to 1 hour before I actually went to get the paperwork done. I came a bit earlier but only 1 person in front of me. And I still got it 30 min after my time. They should also tell you before booking that you need to go to a different parking spot to pick-up the car. The link to actually mark every damage in the car wasn’t working-no picture of my cargo van. What if you don’t have a car? -also during this process it was as if I couldn’t ask anything and he told me to take a picture of my drivers license but I didn’t do anything with it... Also once I got in there -inside the car it smelt like some sort of farm animal.

The location of the van was in about 5 mins driving but if you arrive by foot, it would take 15m to reach this point. I wish they inform about this in advance, even despite the vast majority of their clients arrive by car

The owners said the truck was offsite even though it was right next to the store. Working on efficiencies like that would not only benefit the business, but it also wouldn't waste customer's time.

They charged me for dolly rental and furniture pads that I did not receive, even though they told me it would be removed from the bill. They tried to charge a larger amount than what was outstanding on my bill 4 times, which was flagged and rejected by my bank. Very scary place!!!

The online booking system needs to be improved. It changes your customers reservation time and location and it causes inconvenience. Instead of having preferred times and locations, uhaul needs to have a system that accurately reflects what is and isnt available. Otherwise you are causing more stress to what is already a stressful situation. Moving sucks make it easier not harder.

We found the car but had to drive up and down the street which was the only info provided to look for the keys. The keys were not in the box nor were they in the third box. Was on the phone for 25 mins for the agent to give me the code for the middle box which was also empty. Customer service couldn’t get me another truck because the reservation was dispatched even though I clicked that I did not receive the keys. I was on the phone for over 2 hours getting transferred to 8 different people before I finally got another truck at a location that was 40 mins away. This was the worse experience renting a vehicle. Absolutely horrible.

Vans and Trucks should be cleaned before renting out to next customer. Although there are lots of people who need a van or truck, your men should ensure vans are clean before dispatch.

Truck was dirty in the back and sticky in the cab. Was made to wait half an hour after my booking time as two staff members attended to other tasks. The directions to reach the truck were at first not provided, and then given vaguely. The wrong truck was listed on my contract resulting in an exorbitant charge (which was cleared up, thankfully, by customer service staff on the phone). The staff members there generally exhibited an attitude of indifference and inattentiveness.

A few things: 1. we booked a rental from a different location almost a week in advance; the location was changed after business hours to a location farther from us (requiring more KMs). 2. We booked online and had everything set up to do mobile pick up; not only did this not work, but none of the information we entered online was transferred so we had to re-do everything. 3. The staff sent us to an offsite pickup lot to get the vehicle; it was not there and we had to go back - between this and having to redo all the paperwork, 1 hour of our 4 hour rental was used up. 4. The inside of the vehicle was covered in dog fur and had such a terrible stench that I nearly had to go to the hospital because of how it triggered my asthma. 5. The outside of the vehicle had significant damage, the staff did not do a walk-around with us, nor were there any documented photos of the vehicle online so we were unable to submit notes on what damage was on the vehicle before we left but had to sign the online form saying there wasn't damage - this was highly uncomfortable and did not seem right.

I would never recommend this store to anyone. I booked over the internet a truck number 10 and when I got to the store was closed and the attendant was a person who did not know the system and also the store did not have the truck I booked and also the moving trolley was not available. I had to pay a higher amount than the one I hired. The truck was extremely dirty inside where drivers sit. Many risks and breakdowns. I was disappointed.

I had set up my online uhaul account and done the online express check in. However when I came to pick up the vehicle, it didn't appear that the reservation was there and I had to redo all the information all over again What is the point in having an app if it doesn't work. The same thing has occurres muktiple times at thia location.

The cargo van that they gave to me is so dirty and smells bad.Smells like goat and lots of goat fur all around even in the driver seat.The owner should make sure its clean before give it next renter.
